Kodak Moment #45

March 1993I got hundreds to thousands of photos through my life.  A lot of which would match up to stories here on Cowabunga Corner, but for one reason or another they are not chosen.  This does not mean that these photos are not worth sharing and do not hold stories of their own.  I would like to keep sharing what I can here on the site, so whenever I can I will share a photo and a story to go along with the photo.  If it’s a part of events that has been shared here, we will link back to the stories of the events themselves as well.  Hope everyone enjoys.  Today’s photo is from 1993 when my dad was making my second Turtle costume.

Happy New Years! 2016

Happy New Years, Everyone!  Welcome to the first post here on Cowabunga Corner for the year.  And what a year it’s already shaping up to be.  This year we have a new TMNT Movie coming out in June with Bebop and Rocksteady!  We also have the rest of Season 4 as we see the Turtles finish their space trip with the Fugitoid!  And we get to see if the Turtles stay with the Foot Clan in the IDW Comics!  So many great things going on for Ninja Turtles, so what is going to come here on Cowabunga Corner?  Here are our hopes for 2016.

A look back at Christmas 2015

Christmas day was a great day filled with laughter, food and family.  We had our Christmas morning at home, just my mother, father, Miki and I.   We exchanged some gifts with each other, got food cooked up and headed over to our Cousin’s house.  Where we spent the rest of the day for food and games.

The question I’ve gotten all weekend has been, “Did you get anything Ninja Turtles for Christmas”?  So I put together a video highlighting some of the items I got for Christmas from friends and family.  From toys, games to clothes, both Turtles and not Turtles.  This is a peek at my Christmas gifts.

Merry Christmas 2015

Merry Christmas everyone!  What a great day in the year for family and friends to spend together.  A Holiday that brings cheer just about everywhere  you go.  Here we’ve worked to show as much TMNT products as we could get up in hopes to help with Holiday gift ideas.  We hope that everyone enjoyed our mad rush of TMNT product reviews, we got more to go, but not today.  Today is about sharing life.

Review: TMNT Swap Book

Most Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles products that I’ve picked up at the market, I’ve at least heard of that type of product before.  Every now and then, something new comes that just seems different or strange to me.  A new thing that young people may be enjoying.  These items are still part of TMNT history and will be shown here.  Which brings us to today’s review, a TMNT Swap Book.

Review: TMNT Hot Cocoa Mug Set

There’s a lot of awesome ideas out here for Ninja Turtles fans this Holiday.  We’ve been sharing a lot of the MZB Holiday gift ideas.  They are not the only ones who are releasing gift sets that could be fun for the family.  And we love sharing more with everyone.  This one is from Frankford, the same company that makes a lot of the Valentines treats we share.  Here is my review of the Hot Cocoa Mug Set!

This set comes with two mugs, and two pouches of Hot Chocolate.  Both mugs have the same image on them.  The hot chocolate mix is from Nestle, really been my favorite Hot Chocolate since I was a child.  I found this set at Toys R Us.

Review: TMNT Basic Bath Set

Christmas time is buzzing at Cowabunga Corner, on and off the website.  While we love getting up as much stories as we can for those interested.  We’re also spending time with family, getting the house ready, shopping and wrapping presents.  It’s the time for caring, giving and family.  We will keep working to get the stories here, focusing mainly on Christmas items right now.  This review is for a set sold during the Holiday season by MZB, this is the Basic Bath Set.

Review: TMNT Wash Mitt and Body Wash

Being a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fan this year has made it hard to go into the stores as every store is offering cool TMNT items that are out for the Holiday season only.  We’ve shared stuff from Body Wash, Shampoo, and Bubble Bath.  Each of the sets coming with something unique and fun that fans can enjoy throughout the year.  I am trying to share as many of these sets that I can before the Holiday.  Here is my review of the Raphael Wash Mitt with Body Wash.

Review: TMNT NECA Scalers

In 2008 NECA released the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys based on the Mirage comics.  This set was a hit with TMNT fans, as we soon got an April O’Neil and then they stopped releasing TMNT toys.  As we were waiting for our Shredder, and hoping for others.  It seemed like that was it for NECA, as the License was no longer in their hands.  This year I got my hands on one of their new products, the Scalers.  Here is my review of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Scalers Mini-Figure Set.
