I got hundreds to thousands of photos through my life.  A lot of which would match up to stories here on Cowabunga Corner, but for one reason or another they are not chosen.  This does not mean that these photos are not worth sharing and do not hold stories of their own.  I would like to keep sharing what I can here on the site, so whenever I can I will share a photo and a story to go along with the photo.  If it’s a part of events that has been shared here, we will link back to the stories of the events themselves as well.  Hope everyone enjoys.  Today’s photo is Robbie Rist

In August 1994 I made a trip to Northampton, Mass with my mother and sister.  We were only going to get photos of the outside of Mirage Studios, but found something so much more exciting to do.  We learned of the Words & Pictures Museum.  A museum owned by Kevin Eastman, and nicknamed by the residents as “The Turtle Museum”.  Inside there was original TMNT art, other amazing comic artwork, areas where people could draw and even a store.

I am so sorry I’ve been gone so long this time.  I will openly state that this was the worse year of my life with health and stress.  But we’re not here to talk about that, instead what’s to come on Cowabunga Corner.

We want to start bringing you stories again here on the website.  Starting this week, Kodak Moments will be returning with photos from my past and present, which may or may not connect to stories already here on Cowabunga Corner.  We have pictures from my personal life to photos from TMNT events dating all the way back to 1990.  Kodak Moments are simple stories, done for fun and usually are posted on Thursdays.

Life has not been easy this 2016.  Between pain, lawyers, and moving it's been more like a roller coaster.  Never having time to heal up enough to write or film.  Not able to really pull myself together enough to share my passion.  And even finding myself hiding away from the computer more.  I want to break this feeling that's upon me.  The stress alone feels like major weights upon my chest.  I'm hoping things will turn around by time the year is out.  For now, I'm staying in California.  Doing only a few events to try and remind myself why I push forward in life.

In 2004, I was injured at work.  This is something I bring up from time to time here on Cowabunga Corner.  Though I don’t want to be remembered only as that person who had RSD, when I have so much other stuff that I can focus on which are happier moments.  So, I share to help with the awareness of RSD, and then I write happier stories where I don’t always share the pain that happened behind the story.  In fact, if I’m on video and start having problems, I turn off the cameras and take a break.  It’s all stuff that is edited out as

This upcoming weekend is Valentine’s Day.  A day of chocolate, candy, cards and romance.  Not a Holiday I usually get too excited about, though one where some fun merchandise does come out for the schools that take part in it with their students.  Since January 1st, there has been cards filling the stores, along with candy and dolls holding hearts.  Of course the things that catch my attention are the ones based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  I’ve seen some that’ve been on the market before, but this year I’ll like to share some new ones.  This review is for American Greetings Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Dimension X 32 Valentines.
