CCN: IDW's Tom Waltz Interview Part 1

This summer after the success of our Kickstarter project, were able to set up a handful of amazing interviews in California.  This goes with all of the Nickelodeon interviews we had back in September. A few of these interviews have not been released yet due to traveling, and lack of time for editing.  In the next few months we will release some of these as Cowabunga Corner News videos.  This first one is one of my favorite interviews that we did while in California, which was so long that we've decided to break it up into parts.  We bring you part 1 of Tom Waltz's interview, from IDW Publishing.

For those who don't know, Tom Waltz is the co-writer on the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Comic books.  He's the man behind the new story, working closely with Kevin Eastman on keeping things in tune with stuff that TMNT fans can enjoy.  With 15 issues in the store now, those of us reading it remain on the edge of our seats watching to see where Tom and the awesome crew at IDW will bring the comics.

In part 1 of this interview we discuss some of the character growths and things to come in the IDW series.  We touch how things are worked out between the on going story and the Micro series.  Tom gives in details how he feels about the characters and just where his ideas for their interactions come from.  Truly an awesome interview worth watching for all TMNT fans.

Coming up in the near future we'll bring you more parts as you'll get to hear how Tom got the job of writing for the IDW TMNT comics and so much more!  Stay tuned!
