Cowabunga Corner #123: My Tattoo

Welcome to episode 18 of Cowabunga Corner Season 5.  In this episode I talk about the Michaelangelo tattoo that I got back in November 2002 by a good friend and wonderful artist, Mark Bode.  I first met Mark at Turtle con in 1992, though really got to know him after I became friends with his wife, Molly.

The tattoo I got is on my right arm, which for me was important since I am right handed and it was a symbol of art to have this done.  Not only did I get my favorite Turtle, I asked for Mark to include my favorite color into the piece.  I am proud of this awesome piece of art to this day.  While Mark has mentioned he’d like to touch it up, the tattoo is on my right arm which is the same arm that was hurt two years later.  I do not know if I will ever get it touched up, out of fear of the pain that this arm already causes me.

Mark Bode is a wonderful artist and is known worldwide for his talents.  It is always an honor to meet up with him.  A big Thank You to Mark for one of my favorite Ninja Turtle commissions I’ve ever gotten.
