Cowabunga Corner #93: Interview Kurt Bryant

Hey everyone,

Welcome to episode 15 of Cowabunga Corner Season 4.  In this episode I get to interview the man behind Tokka, Kurt Bryant.  Kurt is a professional stunts performer.   In this movie he was suited up in a heavy costume from Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.  Check out the interview to hear his stories of being Tokka!

I was very lucky to get a hold of Kurt, and found him to be a totally nice guy.  One of the things I did with Kurt, was I asked him to call a fellow TMNT fan to talk to him on the phone.  The fan that he called is known on “Go Green Machine” and “Mikey’s Forum”, he’s known for his passion in the Turtle fandom and his art work that has even gotten published in Tales of TMNT Volume 2!  He goes by the name Tokka, and is a huge fan of Tokka and Rahzar.  So when I had a chance to meet the actor behind Tokka, I wanted to share this with our online Tokka.

Kurt was awesome, and even had a gift for me.  One which I shared on display for Michigan Action Figure Expo when they brought me in as a guest on May 7th, 2012.  The gift, which I hope to have up in a Museum some day is Tokka’s hand used in the movie!  Thanks Kurt!
