Kodak Moment #39

I got hundreds to thousands of photos through my life.  A lot of which would match up to stories here on Cowabunga Corner, but for one reason or another they are not chosen.  This does not mean that these photos are not worth sharing and do not hold stories of their own.  I would like to keep sharing what I can here on the site, so whenever I can I will share a photo and a story to go along with the photo.  If it’s a part of events that has been shared here, we will link back to the stories of the events themselves as well.  Hope everyone enjoys.  Today’s photo is a family photo.

This is my dad with all three of us kids.  We are at the house where I grew up in Ferndale.  This is before I was a big Ninja Turtle fan.  I don’t really remember that shirt as one of my favorites growing up.  At that time I was most likely into He-Man or Ghostbusters.  As we’re looking at the mid 1980’s here.

I really like this picture as it shows dad with all of us just happy and goofing off.  Bryan and I being picked on by dad, with Miki sitting up front.  This is my family as I remember us, and that makes this photo really stand out as I’m going through our old pictures.  And while we were not a big fan of that house, I do miss it.  It was my home for 20 years of my life.

You got any good family shots at a house you miss?  Please share memories, comments and questions below.
