Kodak Moment #40

I got hundreds to thousands of photos through my life.  A lot of which would match up to stories here on Cowabunga Corner, but for one reason or another they are not chosen.  This does not mean that these photos are not worth sharing and do not hold stories of their own.  I would like to keep sharing what I can here on the site, so whenever I can I will share a photo and a story to go along with the photo.  If it’s a part of events that has been shared here, we will link back to the stories of the events themselves as well.  Hope everyone enjoys.  Today’s photo is a family photo.

My family was always lucky to get homemade costumes from my dad.  Since this is Halloween weekend I wanted to share this old Halloween family pic.  This is my mom, Miki, Bryan and me in our costumes.  I was a blue California Raisin, wore that costume for a few years as I really liked it.  My mom was the wolf, the tall one next to my mom is Miki and the last one of the four is Bryan.  These were the costumes I grew up around.

Some of the cool things my dad would do with the costumes is make it so they could drink from the fingers, they’d have fans in them and could blow smoke.  He was really good at making costumes, craving these from foam rubber and adding what ever was needed to turn it into something really cool.

Happy Halloween everyone!
