Since I’ve started Cowabunga Corner I’ve shared the lost of a few family members in the last year, Toby and Sassy. It’s time I share some happy news, these are our new puppies in the house. Loki and Lucy, born on March 16th these two pups have fit right into the family. I want to share them with everyone as they are now a big part of my life. You can see both Loki and Lucy in the Imperial Toy Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Spin and Spray Sprinkler review.
These puppies are half Aussies Shepherd and half Shih Tzu. The mother is the Aussies, they were with their mom for 8 weeks. We picked them up on May 9th, and they’ve been keeping us busy ever since. Even though they are fast learners, they are babies and need lots of attention. Making it so I’m spending even less time at the computer.
Loki is a little bigger than Lucy is. He’s got a strong personality as he likes to play a lot and leads Lucy around. One thing that everyone notices right away with Loki is that he has one blue eye and one brown eye. Though he’s shy of other people and dogs, he’s been getting more brave recently. He’s picked up at barking at people who walk by once he’s outside. And he likes to try and check out the cats. If the cats let him come near them, he just smells them. If the kitties run, he will chase them.
Lucy is a little smaller than Loki, and has more white to her face. She’s curious of everything around her and hates to be alone. Like her brother, she is very shy of people and other dogs. Miki and I have been taking them for walks, where she is showing that she’s more curious and getting a lot braver in greeting dogs. It takes her no time at all to run behind our legs if something spooks her.
Their favorite things are playing back yard, they love tug a war, and Loki is already into playing fetch. They’re making friends with some dogs around the block. Once we take them for their walk, we make sure to go pass their friend’s houses just in case they can have some hang out time. They are the hit of a crowd, as we took these two into Royal Oak for a Festival. Introducing them to anyone who wanted to say hi.
These two are a spark of happiness in our lives. As they have grown attached to everyone in the house. They are truly new members of our family and I hope to share more stories and photos of them as they grow up and go on any adventure with me. They may help with future reviews as well.

Let them learn at their own pace. Since they are only puppies they aren't ready for the challenges older dogs have. Maybe they can go when they are a little older.

I think that people who have their email address attached to facebook have their facebook icons that appear here. At least that's how it worked with one of my friends.
Sorry I could not reply faster, I am on vacation currently and the cabin we're staying at does not have wifi. I have to go out (right now at McDonalds) to get internet connection.
