Nickelodeon Resorts Retro TMNT Panel 1

While at the Nickelodeon Resorts for Retro TMNT weekend, they held a few events for the people staying in the suites.  Some of these events were panels with the voice cast from the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoons.  Townsend Coleman (Michaelangelo), Barry Gordon (Donatello and Bebop), Rob Paulsen (Raphael), and Cam Clarke (Leonardo and Rocksteady).  This was all part of Nickelodeon Resorts "Summer of Shell".  We went to four of the public panels to see the voice actors, hang out with fellow TMNT fans and get autographs.  Here on Cowabunga Corner we intend to share these videos with the fans who were not able to make it to the event.  So this is the Saturday Morning panel with the cast of the original TMNT cartoon.

Before starting the panel, one of the great things was that they showed episodes of the original cartoon show.  While the fans were watching it, the voice actor cast would be in the crowd watching.  This would be some of their first time seeing these episodes of the series in a long time.  The episode that they played for this panel is the second episode from the series.  I heard that they played the first episode in Friday afternoon panel, which I had to miss to check into our hotel room.  It was fun sitting through the episode, as I spoke along with some of my favorite lines.   After the episode was over, they introduced the guys.  All of this could be seen in the video here.  Including some deep talk if the original toon turtles were Teenagers or young turtles grown up to be teenagers when mutated, to singing the Brady Bunch theme song and just goofing off.  We had a lot of fun.

I will be sharing three more of the public panels from Retro weekend here on Cowabunga Corner.  Along with many other stories from the Nickelodeon Resorts.  Remember this is the Summer of Shell, check their schedule to keep up on what awesome events are still to come.  I personally am thinking about trying to make it to the August 9th record breaking attempt!  Hope to see everyone there!
