Review IDW Enemies Old Enemies New

Since IDW has taken on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle comic books, we've been going for one ride after another.  Though it's been a blast, not everyone has been able to keep up with the comics coming out.  A few months ago, IDW published TMNT Change is Constant Volume 1.  This graphic novel held the first four issues of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with the introduction of Raphael, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Donatello, as they fight Old Hob in the mission to be together again.  Now we're getting issues five through nine in their new graphic novel Enemies Old Enemies New.

The cover of this graphic novel looks much like the cover from IDW TMNT #5.  Inside, the cover art is pages from issue #5 as well.  As we get all the credits inside the front cover as it goes into Chapter 1 which is issue 5.  Each issue is marked by Chapters.  Nothing in between the issues at all, so it's a straight through read.  If you want to know my thoughts on each of these issues please read my reviews:

At the back of this book is the art area, which has the cover work from the five issues that is covered in this issue.  While it's nice to see all the covers in one place, this is the only feature for this graphic novel.  There's two nice quotes on the back of the cover, with a short write up about the book.  That is the most that is really new for us collectors.  Making it so this book is best if you're buying it to read the story because you did not collect the issues as they came out, or if you're a collector like myself, who is after everything.  There's nothing that stands out about this book to make it so it's a must have.

Have you picked up this graphic novel?  If so what are your thoughts?  Please write reviews, comments and questions below!  All comments are to be approved before it'll be posted.
