Review: POP TMNT

One thing that is happening more and more is collector items that adults can enjoy based on their favorite versions of tv series and comics.  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans have been seeing this with the NECA TMNT toy line, cool weird items at Hot Topic and Spencers Gifts, and now the Playmates Toys Classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line.  Funko jumped on board with their POP Television Vinyl figures.  Releasing six of the Classic Toon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters.  Here is my review of these awesome toys from 2013.

The six characters released are Michaelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, Leonardo, Splinter and Shredder.  These only can move their heads.  They’re each armed and ready for battle.  Fun to have for fans young and old.  Usually cost between $9 to $12.

Have you picked up the POP TMNT Toys? Which ones do you have? What are your thoughts on them?  Please share reviews, comments and questions below.

Hey Michelle, nice review as always! I have somewhat of a funny story...I always wanted to collect POP figures, but never got around to buying them...but I went to NYCC for the first time ever last year, and I cosplayed as Raphael. They had tons of POPS for sale there, and I bought Raphael since that's who I was dressed as. Ever since then I've bought more and more POPS, from many different series', such as Disney. Also, I don't know if you know this or not, but a second series of TMNT POPS are coming soon! They were revealed at Toy Fair. Not only are we getting April, Bebop, Rocksteady and a Foot Soldier, but a turtle van that can fit a figure inside of it! Here's a picture:, there are two versions of Mikey. One has the tounge painted pink and the other doesn't...sadly it seems you got the unpainted version. There are also numerous variations of the turtles including metallic ones, black and white ones, and more. Funko is also making a TMNT fabrication figure, plus TMNT kidrobot figures are on the way as well.I love your video reviews Michelle, keep em' coming! COWABUNGA!

Oh we know they have new stuff coming out.   If you check our most recent post here, it's an interview from Toy Fair at the Funko booth.  We didn't cover the stuff in the book, since we were going off of what they were displaying at the booth.  Didn't seeing the stuff in the book till Toy Fair was over.  We also have an interview with Kidrobot... working our way through the footage and stories we got from Toy Fair still :)Glad you're enjoying the reviews :D
