In October 2012 I went to the Toys R Us in Time Square with a few friends while we were in town for New York City Comic Con. I was excited as I found the wave two playmates toys and thought I found all there was to find of Ninja Turtles. When I went down to the basement though I found Ninja Turtle items that were new and exciting. There was a case for iPad, ear-buds and more! These toys that hook to your phones, tablets and other gadgets. Toys big kids could enjoy! So when I learned that I was going to Toy Fair 2013 I looked up to see if the company behind these awesome toys were going to be there. Sure enough Sakar International was on the list of businesses that were at the Fair. So here is my review of Sakar’s Toy Fair booth.
Sakar International was the third booth I stopped at when I came into Toy Fair. I knew all of the cool things they were putting out and wanted to see if this stuff was displayed at Toy Fair. When I first entered the booth I came in from the back side and I was not seeing anything Ninja Turtles. As I made my way through seeing other properties like My Little Pony, I felt disappointed wondering how they could not display TMNT. I got all the way through the back side of the booth and turned around, which is when I noticed the glowing poster of Ninja Turtles. I walked towards that, while there was nothing on the side of the stand that I was coming from when I looked around the corner there was a showcase of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles merchandise.
I got my camera out and started to take pictures. Looking things over. One of the workers came up to me and introduced himself to me. His name was Jeremy. I told Jeremy who I am and a little bit about Cowabunga Corner so he showed me some of the new items coming out that was on display from the mouse pads, flashlights to the spy kits. There was a lot of Turtle stuff in front me and this had me excited.

Some of the most talked about Sakar items through the fandom has been their Ninja Turtles speakers. While I did not see these speakers on display here at Toy Fair, they did have a ton of other things. Each of these things will be shown and talked about on Cowabunga Corner. I hope to be able to do some video reviews on items as well to show them working, so our viewers know just how amazing of a toy these are. Sakar is doing an outstanding job at bringing us different things to use and enjoy in our collections.
Looking over the new products my favorite one was the Mouse and Mouse pad set. This is something I would use. I hope that they come out with a wireless mouse at some point. Though in the meantime a mouse at all is a big jump in cool items for fans. I can not wait to see this in stores. As of now I’ve mainly been seeing Sakar items at Toys R Us. If anyone else knows of other stores which has been selling these new TMNT gadgets please do let us know.
Here is some photos taken of the different items they had on display. Please note that as I get these items I will do reviews of them. Some of them are already in my collection and lined up for reviews. Not all of these will have video reviews as we will be doing written reviews for them as well.
