Review: TMNT Flip Phone Toy

There are a lot of cheap Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle toys hitting the market. Some of them are great while others are okay. You can find toys coming up at stores all over from Family Dollar, Toys R Us, and Target. Small cheap toys are good items to give to kids who like TMNT without spending a lot of money. One of those items is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Flip Phone.

This toy can be found at Target. It is a normal toy phone with TMNT stickers on it. The phone is green plastic while the flip part is a purple plastic. There is a TMNT sticker on the outside and on the inside of the flip lid. In package they got it so you can press the buttons and hear the noises. There is not one TMNT noise to the phone it is all normal phone noises. The packaging is flat cardboard with a plastic bubble wrap. The front is the normal TMNT packages with purple and green, Nickelodeon TMNT Logo and the normal image of the Turtles along the side.

What I find most interesting about this packaging is that the back of the packaging doesn’t really talk about the product to much. Usually you’ll see fun images or instructions. The most instructions we get is about changing the battery, but before that is shown to us we get a little bit about the company that made this toy, Blip Toys.

This is a 2013 product. It’s okay, though not something I need to take out of package. Could of been better if there was TMNT noises with the phone.  It’s put away in the collection of TMNT 2013 items. Nickelodeon is making sure there’s TMNT stuff out there at people of all ages can enjoy.

Do you have the TMNT flip phone by Blip Toys? If so what is your thoughts of this? Please share reviews, comments and questions below.
