Snap Review: Loyal Subjects TMNT Hot Topic Blind Box #6

There’s so many different products released every year that we have a hard time keeping up with everything.  From toys, food, and novelty products.  Wanting to cover everything we enjoy, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles can take time.  Which has got me deciding to do some shorter reviews, just doing fast coverage of the product itself.  These are our Cowabunga Corner Snap Reviews.  Each review covering a different product, depending on whatever it is we have to share.  This episode covers Loyal Subjects TMNT Blind Box from Hot Topic.  This is one of eight episodes with special guest co-host Tokka!

These were filmed before we started the BBO (Blind Box Opening) videos, so the normal way that I now do these videos did not apply back when we filmed these.  You never know how many boxes we will open per a video!

Loyal Subjects has been making these fun vinyl figures for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for a few years now.  The series are very well detailed, though the price point is high for toys in which you can’t see till you open the package.  I was lucky to find a deal at a Hot Topic that allowed me to buy a bunch of these blind boxes.  This November I got to sit down and open these Blind Boxes with Tokka from and go through the boxes.

Curious if we opened the entire set?  We made 8 videos based on these blind boxes.  Check out the video to see if we managed to find any of the rare ones.  The sets contain the four Turtles, April O’Neil, Shredder, Casey Jones and Splinter.  Splinter is the rarest one, followed by April O’Neil.

A big Thank you to Tokka for taking part in helping with these reviews.  His knowledge of Loyal Subjects and the artist behind these TMNT Blind Box toys was very informative and interesting to learn.  Tokka is a fellow passionate fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, he’s had his art published and has done a lot online for the TMNT fandom.

Have you got your hands on any of the Loyal Subjects TMNT blind boxes?  Was it from this set?  One of the other sets?  Let us know your thoughts on the Loyal Subjects TMNT vinyl figures.  Please share reviews, comments and questions below!
