Teenage Alien Ninja Turtles - The jokes

Since Michael Bay’s speech about Aliens, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans have been going crazy with all sorts of different things picking on it.  We’ve got the media picking it up to where TMZ had Robbie Rist on the show, the voice of the fans; we’ve had Conan O'Brien pick on the movie and so much more.  The hits just keep coming, though some of the best ones have been in the forum of art, be it music or drawings.  I’m going to take a little bit of time now to share some of my favorite Teenage Alien Ninja Turtle pieces that has come out in the last month of crazy Ninja Turtle news.

First, a few from people us Turtle fans all know and enjoy a head sketch Peter did for his blog about this subject.  I just found this a little head sketch picking at the notion of the Turtles as aliens.  Nice of Peter to write up a blog for the fans, seeing as how he has no control over any of what’s going on with the TMNT.      

This next sketch is from Jim Lawson.  He posted it on his Facebook page saying “Hey Michael Bay”.  It’s just so cool to see the original artist doing their own nods to the craziness that hit the internet over Alien Turtles.  

This comic page is one a friend posted to me on Cowabunga Corner’s facebook page.  Got a good laugh out of it.  These artist are having a lot of fun with what they’re doing!  Poor Shredder, didn’t see this ending coming.        

And this last artwork one is another comic page that came out.  Once again picking on Michael Bay, though the funny part is where it ends up with the Biker Mice, since one of the Biker Mice is voiced by Rob Paulsen.  So, it’s a fun comic strip seeing the two crossed over in this big joke of the internet.      

Now, for the final thing that I really enjoy out of all these fan things.  Someone was really creative to put this together and I really did laugh a lot, especially my first time watching it.

Overall, what I like about these is how creative they were.  They took this thing that has a lot of people freaking out and on the edge and was able to bring humor to it.  I still do not believe at all that the Turtles will be aliens in the new film.  For my thoughts on that read any of our earlier stories on the subject from “Michael Bay talks aliens”, “TMNT Why Not Aliens”, “Movie Updates” and “Title Change: Ninja Turtles”.
