Comments: I guess the idea that someone like Mae Whitman is labeled as fat and ugly really ticks me off.  I know the overall point of the movie is to apparently show others that you should not be ruled by what everyone says, but still. This just doesn't sit right with me. I don't see myself seeing this movie.

Nick and Jacob use the time traveling hot tub to try to get back to the past to learn who shot him and undo the damage, but they inadvertently end up ten years in the future. Comments: I didn't see the first Hot Tub Time Machine movie, so I do not plan on seeing the next one. The first one never really interested me and honestly, I have only very recently started to see any type of promotional material for the sequel. Does the movie company have that little faith in the movie that they are not promoting it more heavily?

SYNOPSIS: Based on the Tess Gerritsen novels, detective Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) and medical examiner Dr. Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander) work together to solve crimes in Boston. In Season 5, Jane tries to keep a secret and Maura and Frankie try to figure where their relationship is going.

Starring: Angie Harmon, Sasha Alexander, Jordan Bridges

Genre: Drama

Airing: Tuesdays at 9:00PM on TNT

Comments: I haven't watched this show, though for it to have made it all the way to season five must mean that the show is pretty good. Though for me, I have far too many shows to watch as is, so I have not even attempted to pick up this particular show.

SYNOPSIS: A remake of the 1970s sitcom about two divorced men who become roommates even though they are polar opposites.

Starring: Matthew Perry, Thomas Lennon, Wendell Pierce, Lindsay Sloan, Yvette Nicole Brown

Genre: Comedy

Airing: Thursdays at 8:30PM on CBS

Comments: This is a show that is a remake of a television show from the 70s that was based on the movie. I'm not sure how many other shows have such a strong backbone in history as The Odd Couple does. Each version in the past has been successful. However, I'm not sure how successful the newest show will be in this day and age. There hasn't been much in the way of promotion, from what I have seen. Though, I do not watch much on CBS, so I could be wrong on the amount of promotion this show has been given. I've always enjoyed the premise of The Odd Couple, and I have seen it reinterpreted so many ways over the years. It will be interesting to see how well it does on it's own.

SYNOPSIS: An actor (Michael Keaton)—famous for portraying an iconic superhero—struggles to mount a Broadway play. In the days leading up to opening night, he battles his ego and attempts to recover his family, his career, and himself.

Comments: This is a movie that I have wanted to see for a while. However, I could never arrange the time to see it while it was actually in the theaters around here. I will definitely be catching this movie, probably on Amazon Instant Video as soon as possible.

Comments: I tried watching the original movie way back in the day. It just wasn't my kind of comedy movie, so I did not bother seeing the sequel. I did have a friend see the movie, who loved the original. He thought it was merely an okay movie, and that it tried too hard to be like the first one.

SYNOPSIS: Maggie (Melissa McCarthy), a single mother, moves into a new home in Brooklyn with her 12-year old son, Oliver (Jaeden Lieberher). Forced to work long hours, she has no choice but to leave Oliver in the care of their new neighbor, Vincent (Bill Murray), a retired curmudgeon with a penchant for alcohol and gambling. An odd friendship soon blossoms between the improbable pair. Together with a pregnant stripper named Daka (Naomi Watts), Vincent brings Oliver along on all the stops that make up his daily routine - the race track, a strip club, and the local dive bar. Vincent helps Oliver grow to become a man, while Oliver begins to see in Vincent something that no one else is able to: a misunderstood man with a good heart.

Comments: Well, it seems I just don't watch as many movies as I thought I do. This is certainly a movie I wanted to catch while it was out in theaters, but my life keeps me so busy that I didn't get to go see this movie. It will be one that I will catch soon.

From Kotobukiya. A special color variant to the Avengers NOW! Iron Man ArtFX+ Statue! Marvel Comics is the next great property to get Kotobukiya's ArtFX+ statue treatment, and so of course the first series is none other than the Avengers, specifically the characters as they appear in Marvel NOW! In 2012 the comic book company relaunched several titles, shifting some characters into different books and updating some for a modern audience. More than anything, it provided a perfect jumping on point for new readers. Now the characters are brought to life as never before based on concept artwork by superstar artist Adi Granov. Arriving alongside the final Avenger is the first alternate version in the lineup, the Iron Man Red Color Variant! Created in 1963 by a group of comic book luminaries (including Stan Lee and Jack Kirby), Tony Stark was a rich playboy whose capture during the Cold War led him to create a technologically advanced powered armor suit bristling with weapons and science-fiction gadgets. Best known for fighting enemies such as Mandarin and Crimson Dynamo, Stark would over the years combat his own personal demons as well, making him a very nuanced, interesting and popular character the world over. While he would continue to improve and upgrade his armors, the brilliant industrialist/hero would also help found the premier Marvel superhero group the Avengers and fight with them all the way into the current Marvel NOW! Universe. With a fresh start Tony appeared there with a brand new suit of Iron Man armor featuring a sleek design, but where the standard version is bold in black and gold, this variant edition takes its color scheme from the classic armors in bright red and gold! The Iron Avenger stands at the ready, turned to his side as he raises his right hand to aim a repulsor at the enemy. Iron Man's armor is intricately detailed with layers, panels, vents, and other technological components like secondary repulsors, and the metallic paint really makes it shine. Sculpted by the same master artist who did the rest of this Avengers series, Junnosuke Abe (RESTORE), Iron Man stands just under 8-1/2" H (in the ArtFX+ 1/10th scale) on his included magnetic display base. Add Iron Man to your collection and complete the full lineup of ArtFX+ Marvel NOW Avengers!

Robin's quotes include "Okay, Batman, let's deliver the punchline," "Holy Barracude," and "Well, what are we waiting for?" The Joker's quotes include, "Ha ha ha ha! Corny, aren't I?" "Stay away from me," and "E-gads, what sourcery is this?"

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! The Marvel Bishoujo collection, bringing you new interpretations of familiar superheroes and villains, continues with the perpetually youthful mutant and sidekick to Wolverine, JUBILEE! First appearing in the pages of X-Men in 1989, Jubilation Lee was an orphan and runaway living in a mall when she ran into fellow mutant shoppers Dazzler, Psylocke, Rogue, and Storm. Following them to their base, the teen eventually signed on with the X-Men officially, becoming the youngest member and using her unique pyrotechnic powers to help save the day for decades until she became depowered (and subsequently a vampire). Jubilee's most iconic look is now captured in a fantastic Bishoujo statue based on a new illustration by master artist Shunya Yamashita!

An awesome product of the late '80s, Jubilee was a spunky young girl with a loud sense of style, and all of that resonated with the fans and will again with this hot new statue. Jubilee stands a rocking pose, legs apart for balance and leaning slightly as she raises an arm into the air in preparation for unleashing a fiery display of plasmoids! The young mutant wears a hot update on her classic costume complete with blue high tops, jean short shorts with X logo belt, pink tube top, bright yellow jacket, and shredded black gloves. Jubilee accessorizes that ensemble with an X pin on her chest, choker, and pink sunglasses perched on her head. All of those details, as well as the heroine's beautiful Bishoujo-styled face, are intricately sculpted and painted and look great on her!

Sculpted by Gotaro Takeuchi (Atelier Bamboo). She unleashes her mutant powers from the safety of your shelf. Add this rad young heroine to your Marvel Bishoujo Statue collection from Kotobukiya!
