1991 Coming Out of Their Shells Tour Chicago

It was 1991, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were going strong around the world, from the movies, toys, cartoons, and the live concert was still going around the country.  This was a smaller show that was edited down from the original “Coming Out of Their Shells Tour”.  They came to Michigan to do a show.  I was staying at my aunt’s during that time and was not able to convince anyone to take me to the show, since I saw the full show back in October.  I was crushed. I wanted to see it alive again so badly.  Disappointed that I missed the show, the only thing I got was a poster that was badly beaten left hanging in a store on their pinboard.

Intro to "The Shape of a Turtle"

Hey everyone, coming soon to Cowabunga Corner is a fanfic I wrote back when I was still in High School, 1996 through 1997. I mainly wrote this throughout the day at school and copying it onto the computer when I got home. What gave me the idea of doing this story was making a fanfic that would crossover with some characters that I created back in 1991, "The Shapers".

1991 Turtles at School

Every year for my birthday back when I was in elementary school, my mom would bring cupcakes for the full class.  Though only one of those times did it really stand out as it was during the best school year of my life.  I’ve already shared how I was bullied in school.  Well, in the sixth grade my mom moved me to another school, sadly I was only in this school for one year, Harding Elementary, with my teacher Mr. Aspinwall.

Review: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Treasury"

Over the years many different books, webpages, interviews and stories have come out based on the origin of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  Everyone has their favorites, including myself.  In the early 1990’s, I use to pick up everything I could find of Ninja Turtles, to try and learn as much as I could about them.

TMNT Interview: Sara Seidman Vance

Earlier this year Cowabunga Corner was able to get in touch with Sara Seidman Vance, a crew member from two of the live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films. Sara worked on TMNT 1 as the costume dresser for Donatello and did make up and stand in work for TMNT 2.

Sara was nice enough to agree to an interview about her time working on the Ninja Turtle movies and giving us a little update on what she's doing now.
