Midwest Media Expo is a new event in Detroit which had a lot of great panels going on, with fun guests.  A guest I got to spend a lot of time talking with, was Andre from “Black Nerd Comedy”.  He got a panel on Saturday night which was a blast.  Here I show an edited down version of his panel, cutting a few things with reason.  This is a fun panel, with a lot of laughs and his introduction the Michigan drink called “Faygo”.  Check out the “Black Nerd Comedy” Panel!

Every year Comic Book fans have a day that stands out above any other.  This day helps introduce people to new comics, brings communities closer together.  Gets creators out to meet their fans.  All while bringing happiness to the comic fans who gather for this day of fun and excitement.  Free Comic Book day.  In 2013 I reviewed two awesome gatherings that took place on the Holiday.  This year I only went to one, though for an important moment in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles history.  Here is my review of “Free Comic Book Day” 2014.

A lot of small toys are coming to the market that are fun for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans.  One of the companies that is releasing these toys is Wicked Cool Toys.  They’ve given us a lot of great TMNT product with more to come.  This review covers their “Ninja Flashlight”. 

At Toy Fair 2014 we got to talk with many companies about their cool Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle products coming out for 2014.  One of these companies is Little Kids, we covered their booth last year too as they had a ton of amazing TMNT products to show.  All based on the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2012 series.  Here is our interview with Little Kids from Toy Fair.

Little Kids Inc has made some amazing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Products last year and they’re back to bring us much more for 2014.  From water toys to bubbles, these are great summer toys for people of all ages, with themes of characters that people enjoy.  This video is a review of their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Combat Bubbles.

There a lot of cool things being released for young Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans.  Some of these items can be found at good prices, like the TMNT socks for kids at Target.  Only $1 per a pair of socks, each pair with a different Turtle.  I’m going to go over these four pairs of socks, they’re way too small for me so I can’t talk about how well they last or fit.  Though can talk about the details of look and feel.

Fandom is a very tricky thing.  Some fans are happy with just enjoying their world around them, other fans feel they need to compete with their fellow fans and a lot of fans want to reach out and do something great for the fandom.  Sometimes fans can make such a huge impact their names and faces are known all around, while many great fans do wonderful things for the fandom without receiving the credit they deserve.  The one thing I can truly say about this, it’s not easy being a fan who wants to do stuff for the fandom.  When someone does make that step, and watch things happen around them they can get lost in everything and not even realize all they did till the time has blo
