Review: TMNT Savage Mikey and Monkey Brains by Playmates Toys


One of my favorite areas of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys is when they have the different characters or costumes from the show.  I want to collect all of the different characters as that just makes the collection feel more complete, good and bad guys are important to have on display together.  I got really excited to when I found these two.  Here’s my review for Savage Mikey and Monkey Brains.

Review: HSH Dive Boat with Diver Don and Snakeweed with Spider Bytez

Video Review: TMNT Mix & Match Casey, Bebop and Rocksteady


Series two of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mix and Match toys has been released, with Casey Jones, Bebop and Rocksteady.  These are more toys to add to the batch of action figures which exchanges body pieces.  A fun toy line that gives some of the Ninja Turtle figures a chance for a makeover.  For better or worse, let’s take a look at these new versions of characters who were released in the on going TMNT Action figure line.  This is my review of Mix and Match Casey Jones, Bebop and Rocksteady.

Review: Half Shell Heroes Dinos and Turtles and "Blast into the Past" Special


Last week we shared the review for “Blast into the Past” A big Golden Book.  It’s based on the new Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Special.  This week, we’re bringing our focus back there, as “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Blast into the Past” airs on TV for it’s first time on November 22nd.  This review brings us right to the heart of the special, Playmates Toys.  Inspired by the Half Shell Heroes toys, here is my review of the 2pack sets of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Dinos.

Review: TMNT 1 into 2 Mutations


Help get TMNT into the National Toy Hall of Fame!

In 1983 Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird created the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, they released these characters to the public in 1984 as a Comic Book.  The Turtles were a huge success through comic book fans, though for those not into the comic scene it was not heard of.  Things could’ve remained this way if Mark Freedman did not get into the picture and go to Playmates Toys for the action figure line.  Playmates Toys loved this story so much that they funded the first five episodes of the original cartoon series.  Making the Toys one of the major backbones behind the Turtles which helped many of us fans learn their story.  I for one am Thankful as they helped and changed t
