Review: 2003 Leatherhead figure

Throughout his history, Leatherhead has had quite a bit of merchandise made for him. Today we're going to be looking at the Leatherhead action figure produced by Playmates Toys for the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series.

I currently have two of these figures. One of which I obtained via eBay and the other I obtained through a forum. Both of these were loose and complete. The package from what I have seen has a cut out bio card for Leatherhead. Some editions include an episode DVD.

Review: NickTurtles Action Pack Dog Tag

Today we're going to be looking at one of the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles "Action Packs" that can be found in the trading card section of stores such as Target. These action packs consist of a foil package that contains 1 of 8 stickers and 1 of 24 metal turtle shell dog tags. Each pack also contains a checklist, showing which stickers and dog tags are available.

Agent 88 and TMNT

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have dipped their hands into many different medias throughout the years.  Though it’s not often to find so many people who work on TMNT trying to put together one show.  Which is what you got going on right now with a kickstarter project right now.  Agent 88 a show about an 88 year old lady who knows how to kick butt.  This film here is being put together by a great artist Digger who’s bringing together a lot of amazing people, many of which we know as TMNT fans like Ernie Reyes Jr.

Movie Review: Madagascar 3

In 2005 a series of movies started, it was just seen as another CGI film at the time about zoo animals.  These zoo animals get in trouble and are shipped away from their home.  Their goal was to try and find away home.  Though things got rough and they were trapped at their new home.  One of the big draws for this movie was the star list of voice actors they had and of course that the movie is from DreamWorks made it very appealing for moviegoers as well.  Who would have guessed that this film would get two sequels and even a spin-off CGI series?   This week, their third film comes to theaters!

Review "Michigan Action Figure Expo" 2011

On May 5th, 2012, I packed up handful of my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collection and traveled to Battle Creek, Michigan for the Michigan Action Figure Expo.  We got to our hotel on Saturday, and came in to start getting things set up for the event on Sunday.  After getting things in order, we headed back to our hotel to wake up early on the 6th, so that we could get the collection on display before the crowd showed up.

This Weekend! Michigan Action Figure Expo!

This upcoming Sunday, I will be at the Michigan Action Figure Expo in Battle Creek, MI.  I’ve been spending the past month getting ready for this event.  I will be bringing some rare TMNT items from throughout the years; toys, comics and more.  We also have decided to have a real treat for everyone who enjoys Cowabunga Corner and decides to come to this wonderful event.

Review: "The Raven"

Edgar Allan Poe was a great writer who lived a hard life.  In his final days, he was found out of it and taken to a hospital, where he died.  The facts of his death remain a mystery to this day.  A new movie is coming out this weekend called “The Raven”, which centers on a time where no one really knows what happened.  The movie comes up with it’s own myth for the death of Edgar Allan Poe, showing us the last few days of what could've been his life, an adventure story of mystery, death and romance.

Review: Pirates Band of Misfits

With all sorts of CGI movies coming out these days, it’s a breath of fresh air to see an animated movie that is not CGI.  “The Pirates! Band of Misfits” is a great movie coming to theaters this Friday, full of laughs, adventure, and fun characters.  Originally this movie was titled “The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists”, which made a lot more sense as these Pirates find themselves entering a Scientist of the Year contest.
