April O'Neil

Megan Fox in new TMNT Movie

MeganFox

News broke out that went around yesterday for the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie produced by Michael Bay.  On his blog he wrote the simple line of “TMNT: We Are Bringing Megan Fox Back Into The Family”  So this bit of news jumped all around, with people jumping to the conclusion that she is going to be “April O’Neil”.  The fact that she is going to be April or not is just rumor for now.  Of course that would be the leading female role in the film, so please note that until further notice of being confirmed as April, this is just a rumor.  Here is my thoughts on this subject.

Review: IDW TMNT #19

TMNT19_cvrAIn January I was one of the fans sitting there waiting for a new issue of TMNT to come to the market and to my surprise there was not one till the first of February.  I felt as if we were going to start to fall a month behind in the on going Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics by IDW.  Though to my surprise, we have one on the shelves today!  This is our second issue of TMNT this month, bringing us back up to speed.  So I am excited to bring you this review of IDW TMNT #19.

Review: IDW TMNT 18

TMNT18_cvrAIn December 1987 the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon came on with a five parter to introduce the world to characters created for a black and white comic book.  The producers, writers and directors decided to bring this cartoon into it’s own direction away from the dark dangerous characters of the comic world and turn them into a fun loving group with a lot of laughs. They introduced a lot of new characters throughout their long run on TV, most of which disappeared once the cartoon went off the air in 1996.  Nickelodeon and IDW is giving us promise to see these beloved characters again.

Review: Nickelodeon TMNT "I, Monster

IMonster 2012 Nickelodeon gave us a great ride with their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.  As we had 12 amazing episodes of action, comedy, heart, and pizza.  We watched as the Turtles ventured to the surface for the first time, had their first taste of pizza and first real fight.  We saw the Turtles learn to fight as a team, make new friends and see the danger of facing the Shredder.  We were on the edge of our seats as Dogpound and Fishface would work to destroy the Turtles, the Kraang kept making more mutants and Shredder beat the Turtles down.  Then we had a break, weeks with no new episodes of TMNT as everyone kept asking when are they returning.

Review: The Secret History of the Foot Clan #2

TMNT_Foot02_cvrAShredder the villain that holds the most power in just the mention of his name for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.  Fans all around the world will answer that Shredder is the true arch enemy of the Ninja Turtles.  Though any who talk to me know that I have mostly been disappointed in the Shredder, as he has just been thrown in as evil.  No real rhyme or reason for what he does.  The only universe that gave Shredder a real background on what got him to go dark and full of anger was the Mirage Comics, until now.

Review: The Secret History of the Foot Clan #1

TMNT_Foot01_cvrAIn Ninja Turtle history one of the things that keeps changing is the history of the Foot Clan.  A handful of medias have covered this, most changing it in their own ways.  The IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Series has made it very clear that their version of each of the characters that we know and love are different from how we’ve ever known them.  Including the Foot Clan.  We know so little about this new Foot Clan, but we do know that the Shredder is brought back to life.  Karai has been leading the Foot till Shredder is back.  Shredder killed Yoshi and his family back in his previous life.
