Review: IDW TMNT Micro Series #4

IDW has been keeping us on our toes with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics, and this month we got a few hitting the shelves.  Today there is the new Leonardo issue from the Micro Series.  This issue, I had to double check the cover to make sure it was the Micro Series when I saw it picked up from where issue 8 of the series left off.  Old Hob has taken Splinter and the Turtles need to find him.  The art work told me this was a Micro Series since Dan Duncan was clearly not the artist, but the story was a bit of a surprise, until I started to read.

Thanks Everyone

Life has been hard this last week, waking up daily with little to no sleep as I rely on pain killers to just help get through the day.  For those who don't know, I went through a surgery on November 18th. This is the surgery I've been waiting for since 2008 to help with the pain caused by RSD, read about RSD here.  Though the first part of the surgery has taken place, they were not able to finish. I will have to go back in for a smaller surgery to finish what they need to do.  In the meantime, I’m still in my normal pain though now it is coupled with the pain from the surgery.

Review: SHELL-SHOCK a TMNT Art Show

On June 3rd, 2011 at Brave New Worlds Comics in Philadelphia, PA, there was an art show held during the evening.  Art work covered the foyer walls of the comic book shop. Pieces ranging from drawings to dolls.  A table sat between the two doors with pizza boxes stacked up.  People could come and go as they please, talk, enjoy some art and even shop around a comic chop.  Though what makes this event stand out to Cowabunga Corner is that the art show was focused on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
