Baxter Stockman

Review: IDW TMNT #15

Happy Halloween everyone!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are getting more and more attention now with the new toys and cartoons on the market, though we can not let the first of the Viacom incarnations of the Turtles disappear into the shadows as the IDW Comics are still coming out strong with some awesome new Ninja Turtle Comics.  Today issue 15 has hit the market where the Turtles are going against a very strong and dangerous mutant from Stockman’s lab.  Find out the new history of a character many of us know well from the original cartoons and Archie Comics!

Review: TMNT "I think his name is Baxter Stockman"

Every version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has a handful of amazing characters that keep coming back.  One of which was the second villain the Turtles ever faced, Baxter Stockman.  He originally appeared in issue 2 of Mirage Volume 1 as April’s crazy boss who created an army of Mousers.  The Turtles then fought him in the original cartoon series episode “A Thing About Rats” when Baxter is hired by the Shredder.  Which brings him into Archie, 4Kids and even the Dreamwave comics.  He was even used in the original version of the Coming Out of Their Shells tour.  The only two medias that did not use Baxter Stockman was the Movies and the Next Mutations, two areas which brought in their own scientists for their stories.  Now Nickelodeon takes a crack at bringing Baxter Stockman to their series in the episode “I think his name is Baxter Stockman” here is a brief layout and my thoughts on their take of Baxter Stockman.

Review IDW TMNT #14

The roller coaster of surprises from IDW's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has had me on the edge of my seat waiting for the next issues.  While I learned after reading the Fugitoid comic that it was suppose to come after issue 14, I find there was no spoilers in Fugitoid that made our newest TMNT edition any less exciting as Tom Waltz pulls out another amazing adventure for the Turtles.

Review: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures Vol. 1

Once again IDW brings us something really cool for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans.  They went a step farther than how things went with 2009 when Archie released their book of the first three TMNT comics.  How could IDW do more, since they already did another printing of the Archie’s 2009 release?  Simple!  Keep bringing us the releases of the old Archie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures!  And that is what they’re doing!

Review IDW Enemies Old Enemies New

Since IDW has taken on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle comic books, we've been going for one ride after another.  Though it's been a blast, not everyone has been able to keep up with the comics coming out.  A few months ago, IDW published TMNT Change is Constant Volume 1.  This graphic novel held the first four issues of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with the introduction of Raphael, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Donatello, as they fight Old Hob in the mission to be together again.  Now we're getting issues five through nine in their new graphic novel Enemies Old Enemies New.

Review: Color Classic TMNT #2

IDW Publishing has decided to release the Mirage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Comics in color, in May we got the Classic Color TMNT #1 and now we’ve gotten Classic Color TMNT #2.  This is not the first time that the 2nd issue of Mirage TMNT was printed in color.  The first company that brought us the color reprint was ‘First Graphic Novel”.  In the review of the IDW reprint, I will also compare between the graphic novel reprint.

Review: London Comic Con 2012

My name is Koen, from Belgium. I went to Comic Con London for the exclusive Ninja Turtles event and mainly to meet and greet with Kevin Eastman and Michael Sinterniklaas.  Here is my write up about the event .

When I got to the event, I expected it to be a big deal because in Belgium Comic Con does not exist.  I was lucky there was a Ninja Turtles event or else I would be out of there in about an hour, simply because it was pretty small and had a lot of the same things like games, anime and very few merchandise dealers.  In the whole event I only found one thing Ninja Turtles related.  The event was also way too overcrowded for what it was.

Review: IDW TMNT #10

Since IDW has started the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle run, we have been waiting for the Shredder to make an appearance, to see the new story line start up, and how they are going to handle the Foot.  After issue 5, the question got even bigger with the original Oroku Saki returning as well?  When the cover of issue 10 was released, everyone saw the new image of the Shredder, which has made us so excited, waiting for this issue of Turtles to hit the shelves. Now it's finally here!

Review: IDW TMNT #9

The Ninja Turtles have been going through a rough time in their life, as Raphael, Michelangelo, Donatello and Leonardo had to fight off the Mousers that destroyed their home only to find that Old Hob has taken their Master Splinter.  Searching to find Splinter is their main goal.  This is the current story of the IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Comics.  Writers Tom Waltz and Kevin Eastman have brought us on a roller coaster ride since the first issue of the IDW Comics this last summer.

Review: IDW TMNT #8

Its that time of the month again to hit the comic book shops as we have another awesome issue of the IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to get our hands on.  In this issue, we're picking up right where issue 7 left off where Raph and Mike came home to find Splinter, Don and Leo under attack by Mousers!  Controlled by Old Hob, these Mousers are taking the Turtles by surprised and is winning this battle.
