Review: Drawing Blood by Kevin Eastman and David Avallone

Often when us fans get into movies, cartoons, comics and toys it all becomes about the characters that pulled us into the show.  Be it Star Trek, Ninja Turtles, Care Bears, My Little Pony, X-Men, and so many other amazing properties out there.  We each find our way into those series, the world created around these characters and get lost.  We find something that we personally connect too, which makes that world seem like it’s special to us and only us.  No one will ever understand our world, because they could never see it from our eyes.  Making each fan so different from the next one.  The world of those characters, becomes so important to the fans in a whole, that people don’t often realize what

San Diego Comic Art Gallery

In August 1994 I made a trip to Northampton, Mass with my mother and sister.  We were only going to get photos of the outside of Mirage Studios, but found something so much more exciting to do.  We learned of the Words & Pictures Museum.  A museum owned by Kevin Eastman, and nicknamed by the residents as “The Turtle Museum”.  Inside there was original TMNT art, other amazing comic artwork, areas where people could draw and even a store.

Youmacon and Midwest Media Expo 2015!

This is Youmacon… this is Youmacon, Youmacon, Youmacon!  That’s right, it the week of Youmacon, which means it’s also Halloween and I’m just so excited to be returning to one of my favorite conventions of the year.  A great staff, awesome talent and a big fun location.  Fun panels and amazing concerts!  In this write up I’ll share a bit about Youmacon 2014 and since Youmacon is ran by the same crew as Midwest Media Expo, I felt this was a great time to pull out one of the TMNT Panels I did at Midwest Media Expo 2015!

Every year I try to make it out to New York Comic Con.  This is the second time where I did not think I was going to make it for the event, until the last month.  New York Comic Con is a huge event filled with panels, dealers, and guests.  For Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans it’s become one of the best events to go too for a yearly dose of Turtle fun.  Here is my review of New York Comic Con 2015.

Review: IDW TMNT #50 *SPOILER*

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has so many different origins, stories, character growth and character designs.  A lot of people always try to compare them to each other, at the same time they’re so different.  IDW Publishing has been releasing their own version of the Turtles which is not like any other out there.  With their own history for the characters, their own plots that don’t match up to any other series and their own way of handling very intense moments.  Recently IDW made a lot of news with Donatello, that was only the build up for what is coming in issue 50.  Here is a spoiler filled review of issue 50 from IDW TMNT.
