Review: IDW Micro Series Villains Hob

In the first issue of IDW's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles we learned of a new villain. This mutant cat who was out to destroy the Turtles. He hated them, and had some history with the Turtles. Though the question often rises why this cat is as bad as he was. Now IDW is sharing with us their Villian Micro Series helping wrapping up some of the questions. This month's TMNT Micro Series issue is all about Old Hob.

Review: IDW MLP Micro Series "Fluttershy"

Living would be easy if people did not care what others thought of them. For some people it’s easy to dismiss the thoughts and cares of those around them, but for others they want nothing more than to be accepted by everyone. When I was a kid I wanted everyone around to like me. I asked who ever I would meet, if they would be my friend.

Review: IDW TMNT #22 "City Fall" 1

IDW started off in 2011 with their first TMNT storyline, showing us the new version of the Ninja Turtles. Next we got to know more of Stockman and see the build up to the Shredder. Keeping us pulled in the full time, as we got up to the Krang War going to Dimension X.

Review: Motor City Comic Con 2013

In 1996 I made friends with a woman who took the nickname Leonardo on TMNT-L. Before knowing her, I went to SiFi conventions only, though she introduced me to comic book conventions. The first Comic Con I went to was Mid-Ohio Comic Con, I’ve only been to that event a few times.

Review: IDW TMNT Micro Baxter Stockman

In the second issue of Mirage’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles we were introduced to a man who would become an iconic character in TMNT History, Baxter Stockman. Creator of the Mousers, boss of April O’Neil, and a totally evil mad scientist.  Baxter was taken in for the original cartoon character first they change the color of his skin, then they turn him into a fly.  Mirage brought him back in Volume 2, turning him into a robot.

Review: IDW TMNT Micro Series "Krang"

Life has been crazy busy lately.  With traveling, conventions, family stuff, and so much more.  I have been on the road more than home once again and finding time to write has not been easy. Back in April IDW released the Krang Micro Series issue and sadly I did not get to it the week it came out.  Really I did not even know it was out till I had a comment asking why I did not review it yet.  I did take the time to read it, but still had so much other stuff going on that it’s taken me this long to finally get the chance to write this review.

Review: Nick TMNT "Pulverizer Returns!"

When Nickelodeon got their hands on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, they got themselves 25 years of stories, characters, and fans.  Giving the Nickelodeon crew a lot to work with to make this new tv series, a chance to bring new stories, wake up long forgotten characters, and introduce the Turtles to new fans.  A mine just waiting to be picked at and shared with the world.  Filled with so many new treasures, that some do not realize how amazing the old treasures are as well.  Till they’re taken out and shined up for this new generation of fans.

Review: Free Comic Book Day 2013

The first Saturday in May is a yearly event that people can enjoy. As Comic Book stores receive Free Comic Books to pass out to anyone who shows up. In the Detroit area each Comic Book store does their own thing and the event takes place in the store. This is how I thought it was done everywhere, though this year there was two events I wanted to go to that was out of state. I was in for a shock with how one town runs their free comic book day like a Holiday.
