I got hundreds to thousands of photos through my life. A lot of which would match up to stories here on Cowabunga Corner, but for one reason or another they are not chosen. This does not mean that these photos are not worth sharing and do not hold stories of their own. I would like to keep sharing what I can here on the site, so whenever I can I will share a photo and a story to go along with the photo. If it’s a part of events that has been shared here, we will link back to the stories of the events themselves as well. Hope everyone enjoys. Today’s photo is from Motor City Comic Con 2000.

I recently purchased Volumes 1 and 2 (Volume 3 is in the mail) of IDW’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hardcover books. I collected many of the first issues as they were coming out when the series began, then went to trade paperbacks, then began reading them digitally with the occasional collected edition purchase or grabbing the single issues of a special event such as Bebop and Rocksteady Destroy Everything.

This is Youmacon… this is Youmacon, Youmacon, Youmacon! That’s right, it the week of Youmacon, which means it’s also Halloween and I’m just so excited to be returning to one of my favorite conventions of the year. A great staff, awesome talent and a big fun location. Fun panels and amazing concerts! In this write up I’ll share a bit about Youmacon 2014 and since Youmacon is ran by the same crew as Midwest Media Expo, I felt this was a great time to pull out one of the TMNT Panels I did at Midwest Media Expo 2015!

IDW has made a big move with IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #44 as Donatello takes the beating of a life time from two of TMNT’s top known henchmen, Bebop and Rocksteady. This has become the talk of the fandom all around the internet. Though the question is… did they Kill Donatello?!
No spoilers being given here. All I can say is that there is a page being passed around online that seems to answer this question. Yes we have seen the page, but would rather discuss the current issue itself.

Throughout the years of being a Ninja Turtle fan, my collection has been growing. Every year I get something new that joins the collection. Growing since 1989, I have over 500 Ninja Turtle toys out of package and over 300 in package, as well as books, animation cels, original comic art, scripts and so much more. To cover all of this on Cowabunga Corner is not something I really think I can do. Though I get a lot of questions about my collection, so I figured I could do random stories from time to time to share one item in my collection. This one is about an original art page from Image TMNT series.
