There are some things that are hard for people to talk about, for me it’s the end of the party Turtle days.  I truly enjoyed wearing my Turtle costume to bring joy to those around me.  Only for that to be torn away from me, because of something I could not control.  In this video is the story of just why I stopped doing the birthday parties and more.

Merry Christmas everyone!   Ever since I was a kid Christmas has been one of my favorite Holidays.  I love all the colors of Christmas lights, going out with the family on Christmas eve to see all the houses done up for the Holiday.  Having the big dinner with the family.  Of course I gotta say gifts are always fun too, but that is only a perk for the excuse to be together with everyone.  I know not all of our readers take part in this Holiday, though I feel all Holidays have this special thing to them no matter which ones you’re a part of.  It’s the warmth of being with those you love, and for my family Christmas is a big part of that.

Halloween the time for costumes, though for some TMNT fans costumes are something we enjoy through out the year at events and conventions.  Over the years I've seen way more people in Turtle costumes and here I'll like to share a TMNT treat for all of our readers.  Some of the awesome Ninja Turtle characters I've seen at events in the last 10 years.

Throughout the years of being a Ninja Turtle fan, my collection has been growing.  Every year I get something new that joins the collection.  Growing since 1989, I have over 500 Ninja Turtle toys out of package and over 300 in package, as well as books, animation cels, original comic art, scripts and so much more.  To cover all of this on Cowabunga Corner is not something I really think I can do.  Though I get a lot of questions about my collection, so I figured I could do random stories weekly to share one item in my collection.

Welcome to episode 2 of Cowabunga Corner Season 4.  In this episode I share footage from March 17th, 2012 at Nickelodeon Universe in Mall of America.  This is an amazing event where they got over 800 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans to show up for the grand opening of a new TMNT Thrill Ride!  The first Ninja Turtle Thrill Ride in history!  A group of us from Cowabunga Corner was able to make it to this event, and this is our coverage!

Every year I go to Motor City Comic Con.  It’s one of the smaller conventions that I go to.  I started going here in 1997 and have made many friends at this event over the years.  In fact, my friends are the only reason I still go to the event.  They don’t really have a lot of stuff there that holds my attention anymore as their guests charge for autographs, their panels are hard to hear in, and they’re overpriced for this size of an event.  Though I still manage to get into the show every year to see a few dealers and guests who’ve become my friends through the years.
