Kodak Moment #69

I got hundreds to thousands of photos through my life.  A lot of which would match up to stories here on Cowabunga Corner, but for one reason or another they are not chosen.  This does not mean that these photos are not worth sharing and do not hold stories of their own.  I would like to keep sharing what I can here on the site, so whenever I can I will share a photo and a story to go along with the photo.  If it’s a part of events that has been shared here, we will link back to the stories of the events themselves as well.  Hope everyone enjoys.  Today’s photo is from my old bedroom from 2010.

Review: Build a Bear TMNT Dolls

In July 2014 Build a Bear released a set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles dolls.  One for each of the four Turtles.  Each different from the other.  These awesome dolls are really well made and something fans can enjoy.  Earlier this year I got to visit Build a Bear to start my collection of this awesome theme.  Here is not just a review with co-host Alopex joining in, of the Build a Bear Ninja Turtles, but some footage from when I was at Build a Bear making some of my Turtles.

Toy Fair 2015: Saturday Walkthrough

Living Dead Dolls Party 10/10/14 NYC

There’s a lot of great toy companies out there, so many that we can never show them all in our reviews of Toy Fair.  One of the companies that has stood out often to me is MEZCO.  I love their products and the lines of the toys they realize.  From Thundercats to Chucky these guys always have eye candy.  Which is why we support their press releases whenever they come our way.  One of their main products is the Living Dead Dolls, and while we were in New York City they held an awesome party for the Living Dead Dolls at Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum.  Here is my review of the event.

Being a Collector

Collectors are everywhere you go and everyone knows someone who collects, even if the collector is not public about it.  From Stamps, Baseball cards, DVDs, money to toy and statues, we’re surrounded in a world filled with so many collectable items that people just walk by daily not realizing how important it is to someone else in the world. Though, are collectors someone who should be pointed at for being different, obsessive, selfish or worse?  I don’t think anyone should be out casted by hobbies that do not hurt other people.
