Movie Review: LEGO Movie

Last year a big surprise hit the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fandom.  The new LEGO movie trailer showed Michelangelo as one of the characters that can be seen in the movie.  Of course the only part we saw him in was when he’s introduced, so there was question if he would be in more of the movie.  While other heroes like Batman was getting a lot of screen time in the trailers.  This put the LEGO movie on my Calendar as a must see movie for 2014.  And it finally hit the theaters today.  Here is my review of the LEGO Movie!

Review: Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

History influences a lot of stories for books, movies, and even lessons for children.  We find movies based on wars, tragedies, and heroes.  Some movies use new characters that they made up, and most movies that use real people try to stay true to the stories that are already known.  Every now and then someone comes up with a new myth of a real person.  Today, a movie is coming to theaters that is based on a man known as a great President of the United States.  Though this film tells a new myth of this president that includes him fighting vampires.

Movie Review: Peace, Love and understanding

Romance is one of those areas in life that doesn't normally entertain me.  I usually feel it's forced when shoved into a story, because people like the results of a love story.  I do not really hang out with many people who enjoy love stories, so these are not the movies we buy or go see.  So when I learned that the movie we were seeing is called "Love, Peace and Misunderstanding", I was debating if I would enjoy the movie or be bored.

Movie Review: Dark Shadows

In 1966 a new kind of soap opera hit the TV, one about vampires, witches, ghost, and mystery.  This series followed a young lady named Victoria Winters, who moved to a house which was known throughout the town as being haunted.  The show was finding its footing for the first 200 episodes, as they gave us a few mystery storylines along with the normal soap drama.
