MME2014 Black Nerd Comedy Panel

Midwest Media Expo is a new event in Detroit which had a lot of great panels going on, with fun guests.  A guest I got to spend a lot of time talking with, was Andre from “Black Nerd Comedy”.  He got a panel on Saturday night which was a blast.  Here I show an edited down version of his panel, cutting a few things with reason.  This is a fun panel, with a lot of laughs and his introduction the Michigan drink called “Faygo”.  Check out the “Black Nerd Comedy” Panel!

Review: MLP Twilight Sparkle Micro Series

MLP_micro01-coverRE-DFOne of the best things in fandom is sharing your loves and joys with your friends.  Through that you can do so much in life.  For me, it’s been sharing the different medias with those around me and seeing what they have to share back.  Which is what lead me to do reviews of the My Little Pony comics.  Friends who were willing to sit back and talk Turtles with me, shared their love of MLP.  Just another way friendships are great.  And is one of the reasons I took the time to read the newest IDW MLP book “Twilight Sparkle Micro Series”.

Review Nickelodeon TMNT "Panic in the Sewers"

Shredder has shown himself to the Turtles!  The Turtles survived that first battle!  And now Shredder has two mutants working for him.  Nickelodeon has been serving up some amazing TMNT action!  Their fight scenes are as promised, fully packed with action and comedy, and while the characters are light hearted at times the plot is thick.  So after spoiling us last week with three packed adventures all in one episode, how are they to follow that?  Well the new episode, which was originally listed on Wikipedia as “Mojo Rising” is now titled “Panic in the Sewers”.   Does the title really fit what we see in the episode?

Facing Fears

Fears are something everyone has to go through.  No matter who you are, if you realize it or not, there’s something out there that scares you.  Some people are very open about their fears, while others try to play it big and act like they have no fears.  For me, I wear my fear on my sleeves.  I have no shame to say that since I was a child I have had a huge fear of heights.  Though the big question comes when you decide to face your fear, can you?
