Review: IDW TMNT #12

A year of stories have been building up to a big fight, Ninja Turtles vs. The Foot!  IDW Publishing has been keeping us on our toes with all these comics building more and more on the characters and stories.  Tom Waltz has been bringing us through this world building up the tension.  With Dan’s artwork flowing right through.  What a comic.  And here issue 12 is finally here bringing us a battle of good vs. evil.  Though this does not end the story, this is only the beginning.

Review IDW Enemies Old Enemies New

Since IDW has taken on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle comic books, we've been going for one ride after another.  Though it's been a blast, not everyone has been able to keep up with the comics coming out.  A few months ago, IDW published TMNT Change is Constant Volume 1.  This graphic novel held the first four issues of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with the introduction of Raphael, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Donatello, as they fight Old Hob in the mission to be together again.  Now we're getting issues five through nine in their new graphic novel Enemies Old Enemies New.

Review: IDW TMNT #11

In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle history, the first battle with the Shredder is usually highlighted as a fight for the Turtles.  The original comics Splinter sent the Turtles to kill the Shredder, which is what they were originally trained for.  In the first cartoon series, Splinter was kidnapped by a robot and the Turtles had to fight Shredder and the Foot to save Splinter.  In the movies, Splinter was kidnapped by the Foot Clan.  We don’t even get to see how that happened, but the Turtles have to fight the Shredder.

Review: IDW Mirco TMNT Series #5

The original Mirage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Micro Series only had four issues, one for each Turtle.  These were awesome comics that connected back to the main series, each comic sharing a story of one character so you could get to know that character better and did some things that would touch the main story.  IDW Publishing has decided to bring back the Micro Series, though to our surprise there are more than four issues.  This review is of issue five of the TMNT Micro Series, an issue based around Splinter.  This issue picks up directly after issue 10 of the ongoing series.

Review: TMNT Micro Series Vol 1

IDW Publishing has been bringing us a handful of great comic books, this time it’s the IDW TMNT Micro Series. With a total of 8 in production, we’ve seen four of them so far and they’ve been great.  I’ve had the chance to review each of these comics as they came out.  There was the Raphael issue, which brought us signs of Bebop and Rocksteady.

Review: Color Classic TMNT #2

IDW Publishing has decided to release the Mirage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Comics in color, in May we got the Classic Color TMNT #1 and now we’ve gotten Classic Color TMNT #2.  This is not the first time that the 2nd issue of Mirage TMNT was printed in color.  The first company that brought us the color reprint was ‘First Graphic Novel”.  In the review of the IDW reprint, I will also compare between the graphic novel reprint.

Review: IDW TMNT #10

Since IDW has started the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle run, we have been waiting for the Shredder to make an appearance, to see the new story line start up, and how they are going to handle the Foot.  After issue 5, the question got even bigger with the original Oroku Saki returning as well?  When the cover of issue 10 was released, everyone saw the new image of the Shredder, which has made us so excited, waiting for this issue of Turtles to hit the shelves. Now it's finally here!

Review: Classic Color TMNT #1

Since the first Ninja Turtle comic came out in originally in black and white back in 1984, there has been two different color versions of the comic released.  Well, now we can make that three, as today IDW is releasing the first issue of Mirage TMNT as a color comic.  Though let’s talk a little about each of the releases here starting with the first time the Mirage Turtles were ever colored.

Review: 100-Page Spectacular TMNT Archie

One of the great comic series of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the Archie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures Comics.  These originally came out following the original cartoon series by David Wise.  Though by issue 5, they started to go into their own direction, introducing new characters and becoming a whole new world of Ninja Turtles.

Review: IDW TMNT #9

The Ninja Turtles have been going through a rough time in their life, as Raphael, Michelangelo, Donatello and Leonardo had to fight off the Mousers that destroyed their home only to find that Old Hob has taken their Master Splinter.  Searching to find Splinter is their main goal.  This is the current story of the IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Comics.  Writers Tom Waltz and Kevin Eastman have brought us on a roller coaster ride since the first issue of the IDW Comics this last summer.
