I got hundreds to thousands of photos through my life.  A lot of which would match up to stories here on Cowabunga Corner, but for one reason or another they are not chosen.  This does not mean that these photos are not worth sharing and do not hold stories of their own.  I would like to keep sharing what I can here on the site, so whenever I can I will share a photo and a story to go along with the photo.  If it’s a part of events that have been shared here, we will link back to the stories of the events themselves as well.  Hope everyone enjoys.  Today’s photo is a shot of me in Central Park at 

When growing up as a child, there was a local treat that my mother would take me to, it was an ice cream shop shaped like a barn.  The small house next to it had these plastic animals in it that was fun to look at as we would sit at the picnic table eating our ice cream.  Not a far drive from where we lived, this was a treat we enjoyed on hot summer days.  They had shakes, malts, cones, banana splits and more, even hot food like hot dogs.  The Dairy Park is a place that people could go for some really good affordable food.

In Season four of the 4Kids Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, the Turtles moved from their lair that they had in the first season.  This was the first time that the Turtle’s lair was given a real location in New York City.

For the last week, the 15 second clip from Michael Bay talking at Nickelodeon Upfront has overshadowed anything and everything else going on Ninja Turtles.  People have been reacting out of fear from the words “The Turtles come from an Alien Race”.  As soon as I saw this clip I knew this was going to make waves, and that it did.  Fans have been speaking up from all over, fans are coming out of the shadows who we haven’t met before to say how much this news angers them.  For the past week, I’ve been waiting for someone official to say some real news to help ease the fears and anger that has crowded the fandom.
