Megan Fox in new TMNT Movie

MeganFox

News broke out that went around yesterday for the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie produced by Michael Bay.  On his blog he wrote the simple line of “TMNT: We Are Bringing Megan Fox Back Into The Family”  So this bit of news jumped all around, with people jumping to the conclusion that she is going to be “April O’Neil”.  The fact that she is going to be April or not is just rumor for now.  Of course that would be the leading female role in the film, so please note that until further notice of being confirmed as April, this is just a rumor.  Here is my thoughts on this subject.

Review: Youmacon 2012

Since 2005, I have been going to Youmacon, an Anime Con in Detroit, Michigan.  Youmacon is one of the largest fan gatherings in Detroit, with bands, voice actors, artists, and so much more.  It’s a place for cosplayers, gamers, and shoppers to gather.  Some of the guests are even connected to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which makes this one of my favorite events in Michigan.  This year’s convention had a handful of amazing people, so I’d like to share my review of Youmacon 2012.

Cowabunga Corner #83: TMNT Magazine 3

Hey everyone,

TMNT Movie on Hold

In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle history there has often been the promise of a new movie, with it falling through in the end.  This past year a lot of talk has been going on about the new film, which was originally promised for 2011, as 2011 rolled around we were told it was going to be released in 2012 and then it got pushed to 2013.  When people came to me asking for my thoughts about the film my main response stood at “I’m more excited about the new cartoon series by Nickelodeon in fall 2012.”  I also told people “I don’t get my hopes up about movies, until I see the movie in filming stages.”.   So was I surprised when I heard that the new Ninja Turtle Film is on hold?

Review: London Comic Con 2012

My name is Koen, from Belgium. I went to Comic Con London for the exclusive Ninja Turtles event and mainly to meet and greet with Kevin Eastman and Michael Sinterniklaas.  Here is my write up about the event .

When I got to the event, I expected it to be a big deal because in Belgium Comic Con does not exist.  I was lucky there was a Ninja Turtles event or else I would be out of there in about an hour, simply because it was pretty small and had a lot of the same things like games, anime and very few merchandise dealers.  In the whole event I only found one thing Ninja Turtles related.  The event was also way too overcrowded for what it was.

Movie Review: Men in Black 3

For me, there’s not many movies out there that when the title is said their theme song gets stuck in my head.  Though this is one film where that is exactly what happens.  As soon as I hear the worlds “Men in Black”, all I can remember is that theme song that came out back in 1997.  It was so good and so cool that I will always remember that song and the original Men in Black movie lands right in that same area, very unforgettable film that stands out.  The sequel came out in 2002 and did not get as much love as the original film.

Tales of TMNT Guests #3

Since early on in my TMNT fandom, it has always been my dream to meet the people who’ve worked on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  Somehow I’ve managed to meet a lot of those amazing people through the years, from actors, directors, creators, artists and more.  Dreams have been coming true for me, and one of the things I feel is very important is sharing how these dreams have come true so others may take the same road if they so choose.  Here, I’m sharing how I met some of the TMNT guests that have come into my life.

Review: 100-Page Spectacular TMNT Archie

One of the great comic series of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the Archie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures Comics.  These originally came out following the original cartoon series by David Wise.  Though by issue 5, they started to go into their own direction, introducing new characters and becoming a whole new world of Ninja Turtles.

Teenage Alien Ninja Turtles - The jokes

Since Michael Bay’s speech about Aliens, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans have been going crazy with all sorts of different things picking on it.  We’ve got the media picking it up to where TMZ had Robbie Rist on the show, the voice of the fans; we’ve had Conan O'Brien pick on the movie and so much more.  The hits just keep coming, though some of the best ones have been in the forum of art, be it music or drawings.  I’m going to take a little bit of time now to share some of my favorite Teenage Alien Ninja Turtle pieces that has come out in the last month of crazy Ninja Turtle news.

First, a few from people us Turtle fans all know and enjoy a head sketch Peter did for his blog about this subject.  I just found this a little head sketch picking at the notion of the Turtles as aliens.  Nice of Peter to write up a blog for the fans, seeing as how he has no control over any of what’s going on with the TMNT.
