In this episode of “Cowabunga Corner” I share my visit to the set of “Ninja Turtles : The Next Mutation”.
This is the first time I’m sharing any copies of this video. Back in July 1997 I got to go to Vancouver, B.C. and visit the set of Ninja Turtles : The Next Mutation. I spent two days on the set, and had an amazing time. It was hard to cram this into 10 minutes, so all of the video is fast forward.

In this episode I talk about animation cels and original art work for the animation cels. I’ve been collecting animation cels since the early 90′s and thanks to my Friends at Art-Toons I have been very lucky to get my hands on a lot of wonderful cels.

In This episode we go back to late 1990 and early 1991, the beginning of my days as a Turtle for Children Birthday parties, movie theaters and more. I was surprised to find this much video footage from those days, including video from one of our first parties.

In this episode we show another area of the Ninja Turtle History that Cowabunga Corner will cover, this being Kevin Eastman’s “Words & Pictures Museum”.
The Museum was a comic book arts Museum, though the locals called it “The Ninja Turtles Museum”. They had a wonderful set up of original art work from all sorts of comic books, and even statues of the Ninja Turtles on the interactive floor.

In this episode I speak about “Ninja Turtles : The Next Mutation”. A series that was loved when it was aired, though is now left in the dark for the most part.
I personally still enjoy the Next Mutation and encourage anyone who have not seen it to give it a try before judging it. A try is more than the first few episodes. Check out some of the later episodes like “Trust Dr. Quease” and “Unchain My Heart”.

In 2009 a TMNT movie made for TV came out called “Turtles Forever” it was aired by 4Kids in November. This movie ia cross over between the different versions of the Ninja Turtles and is a movie that all fans should give a chance. People may be surprised with the way it turns out.

In this episode I cover the tour that took place in 2009 for 25 years of TMNT.
They had a Thomas Bus made into the Turtle Van on the outside. On the Inside, we had a Ninja Turtles Museum with toys, videos, photos, and even storyboard art work. This Tour went across the United States, stopping in cities for meet and greet with fans. This was free to the public, so people could go through and see the history of the Turtles.
