Kodak Moment #88

I got hundreds to thousands of photos through my life.  A lot of which would match up to stories here on Cowabunga Corner, but for one reason or another they are not chosen.  This does not mean that these photos are not worth sharing and do not hold stories of their own.  I would like to keep sharing what I can here on the site, so whenever I can I will share a photo and a story to go along with the photo.  If it’s a part of events that has been shared here, we will link back to the stories of the events themselves as well.  Hope everyone enjoys.  Today’s photo is from the Ferndale High 1988 Oliver Twist Musical.

Movie Review: Rock of Ages

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a new musical.  I enjoy musicals for the most part.  The last one I saw at the theaters that really stood out to me was a film called “Across The Universe” which used only Beatles music.  So this one, which focuses on Rock N’ Roll from the 1980’s had my attention, it’s called “Rock of Ages” and takes place in Hollywood in 1987.  Growing up I listened more to music from the 1960’s, so I was not sure how much I was going to get into this film, going in I did not even know the plot of the film.

Michele Ivey's "Cowabunga Corner" #68

Hey everyone! Welcome to episode 16 of Cowabunga Corner Season 3. In this episode I review the Ninja Turtle Christmas VHS that came out in the mid 1990′s, called “We Wish You a Turtle Christmas”. A video tape made for children and fear by most adult fans.

I have always been a fan of things made for children, I like to be able to entertain people of all ages. Have you watched “We Wish You a Turtle Christmas” if so what are your thoughts on it?
