In honor of it being Kevin Eastman’s Birthday, a week from today, I would like to share one of my many stories of a time I met up with Kevin. Today’s story goes back to 1997 at the Words & Pictures Museum. It was time for the Words & Pictures membership party and a handful of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans from the TMNT-L mailing list decided to meet up for the event this year. It was a busy weekend. On Thursday, Kevin was doing a speech about his life at the museum and we also had the airing of the second episode of the Next Mutation that Friday.

Since there are so many different Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle characters I could never get around to doing a review for every character in our video blog. I decided to do some character reviews for minor characters here on our website. These reviews will be about characters who only appeared a handful of times, though people have either asked me to review or are characters I feel deserve some spot light!
The character I’m going to focus on this time is Dr. Quease, who was originally named "Dr. Faboo" in the Saban Mini Bible. The Mini Bible was their basic info about the series before the scripts were written. Here is what it says about Dr. Faboo (aka Quease).

Ever get so close to your dream before, that just as you’re touching it some force beyond your control pulls it away? I’ve lived with this being a tease throughout my life, though never could I have ever thought I would get as close to that dream as I did back in 1997 to 1998.

Hey everyone! Welcome to episode 15 of Cowabunga Corner Season 3. In this episode I talk a little about the history of TMNT voice actors.
One thing all Turtle fans know is that every media has a new set of voice actors, so we're always seeing new faces being brought in. It's been this way since the early day of Ninja Turtles.

Hiya everyone,
Welcome to episode 12 of Cowabunga Corner Season 3. In this episode I review the Next Mutation Toy Line by Playmate Toys.
Much like the TMNT Movie toy line that came out in the early 1990′s, the limbs of the toys is rubber while their shells are plastic. For my thoughts on these toys just watch the video.

On March 7th, 2011, Nickelodeon released some news to the Wall Street Journal about the new Ninja Turtle Cartoon scheduled to come out in 2012 with the very first image. This is an image of the Ninja Turtles in an action pose, Leo in the lead, Raph behind, him, as Don is next jumping down and in the distance we see Mike. All four Turtles with a whole new look.

In this episode of “Cowabunga Corner” I share my visit to the set of “Ninja Turtles : The Next Mutation”.
This is the first time I’m sharing any copies of this video. Back in July 1997 I got to go to Vancouver, B.C. and visit the set of Ninja Turtles : The Next Mutation. I spent two days on the set, and had an amazing time. It was hard to cram this into 10 minutes, so all of the video is fast forward.

In this episode I speak about “Ninja Turtles : The Next Mutation”. A series that was loved when it was aired, though is now left in the dark for the most part.
I personally still enjoy the Next Mutation and encourage anyone who have not seen it to give it a try before judging it. A try is more than the first few episodes. Check out some of the later episodes like “Trust Dr. Quease” and “Unchain My Heart”.
