Review: Nickelodeon TMNT Website

In 2009, the news of the sale of Ninja Turtles to Viacom also meant that ninjaturtles.com would no longer be ran by Mirage Studios.  The website soon had an image showing that the new site was to be launched in 2011, as we watched a lot of the areas disappear from the website that we all knew and loved.  Though some cool areas remained, like the history of the old TV series and movies.  We waited for the new site.  But 2011 came and went with no new changes.  Finally, June 2012 the website changes, but is this change for the better?

First TMNT Trailer from Nickelodeon!

We’ve been waiting to say this! A new TMNT Trailer is up! This is the second time Nickelodeon has released a video to the fans, but this time it is not a Mutation in Progress video, this is the real deal! A trailer for the new cartoon. Finally, a chance for everyone to hear the new Turtle voices! So before we get into the details... watch this new trailer.

Now that you’ve seen the trailer, here’s my review. This is a teaser trailer, only giving us samples of the Turtles voices, fast flashes of scenes, bits of animation, and no idea on where the story is going. We see the comedy side of the show in this clip as they use a lot of Michelangelo. So I’ll start with Michelangelo.

TMNT 2012 Voice Actors!

More news is being released about the new TMNT cartoon that we’re going to be waiting a year to see hit TV.  Today, all four Turtles voice actor names have been released to the public and the excitement grows in the crowds.  Though everyone is going to react differently towards the news with one thing for certain, we’re going to be sitting at the edges of our seats to hear what they’re going to do for the voices.

TMNT 2012 Series ; Mutation in Progress

In the last week Turtle fans have been hit with a lot of news a select group of fans was chosen to go to Nickelodeon to have a sneak peek at the Mutation in Progress itself.  They were treated with hotel, food and even gifts from Nickelodeon.  These lucky people got to share their feedback on what they thought of the things that were shown to them.  Now, some of them are sharing their stories with the rest of the fans.

IDW now behind TMNT Comics!

On April 1st, IDW Publishing announced that they have received the rights to publish new Ninja Turtle comics!  The curious thing I find about this is that they’re doing comics based on the ‘original’ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as they keep bringing up Eastman and Laird in the press release.  So are their comics going to be based on the original Mirage story line or the original cartoon story line?

Movie Review: Paul

Aliens, something people have thought about and declared to see for decades now.  There’s talk of strange sightings in the sky, people who swear they’ve been taken, those who’ve said they witness crashes and so much more.  So many alien stories.  Though a lot of them lead back to the idea that “Aliens are being held at Area 51”.  For TMNT fans, we’ve had this mentioned before as well. Readers of the Archie Ninja Turtle comics would remember that there was a full adventure based on this, and viewers of the 4Kids series would know that Season 4 brought Area 51 into the picture where Bishop was stationed.
