Review: Nick TMNT #28 "Invasion of the Squirrelanoids"

Nickelodeon made sure that we all knew that season two of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was going to be filled with Mutants.  The end of the first episode hinted at what the first mutant we were going to see was going to be in this long hunt for all the mutagen canisters.  The big question was ahead of us is how dangerous is these mutants going to be, and will any of them become friends to the Turtles?  We got our first real taste of just what the Turtles could face in episode 2 of the season with "Invasion of the Squirrelanoids".  Here is my review of this hyperactive mutant mess of pure gross tales.

Review: NickTurtles Action Pack Dog Tag

Today we're going to be looking at one of the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles "Action Packs" that can be found in the trading card section of stores such as Target. These action packs consist of a foil package that contains 1 of 8 stickers and 1 of 24 metal turtle shell dog tags. Each pack also contains a checklist, showing which stickers and dog tags are available.

A Great Time to be a Turtle Fan

Awesome 2013 Holiday ads include TMNTBack in the early 1990’s everywhere you went was Ninja Turtles.  They were the #1 Toys, they were the hottest show on TV, their films were breaking their own records, and they even got their live tour.  Christmas times the stores would be filled with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  Once the mid 90’s rolled around the wonderful sight of Turtles became hard to find.  As the entertainment kept coming through reruns on USA express, The Next Mutation, Mirage and Image Comics there was sight of bringing the Turtles back to the spotlight.  Even when 4Kids launched, never could it bring back that early year Turtle fan feeling.  Until now.

Review: Nickelodeon 2013 TMNT Ball

With so much Turtles merch that came out in 2013 we are going to have a field day going over some of these awesome Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle items you can still find in stores.  This here is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ball found at Meijer just around Christmas time.

Review: New York Comic Con 2013

In October 2013 we had New York City Comic Con.  One of my favorite conventions of the year.  Normally I get my reviews up shortly after they happen, though once I got home from the convention this year a few of my close family members was having some bad health issues so I was not able to do a review.  Really one of the family members that was with me for New York City Comic Con was having her health issues while there, Miki with her broken neck.  At the time of NYC Comic Con we did not know it was broken, though we knew she was injured.  Here is my memories from one of the best East Coast conventions of 2013.

Review: NickTurtles Electronic Watch

Today we're going to take a look at an electronic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles watch. This is a watch that I found at Old Navy, It is able to fit both kids and adults. The body of the watch is made of silicon rubber with 2D artwork of the four turtles on the band. The casing features a printed logo for the Nickelodeon series.

What makes this watch unique and interesting is the hidden digital display. Pushing on the center of the face causes the hidden digital display to cycle and display the time for a couple of seconds, at which point it cycles again before disappearing.

Review: Nick TMNT #27 "The Mutation Situation"

What a season, so much Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles merch released this year that there was no way to have a review from every item that came out.  I hope that everyone enjoyed all of the reviews that we did share, with great toys.  With the Holiday Season done we are going to try and focus the site back on the Nickelodeon Cartoon and the IDW Comics, as well as keeping the toy reviews coming.  In February 2014 Toy Fair is coming up, which means that toys are still a high focus point for us here at Cowabunga Corner.
