Review: Lexington Comic Con 2015

One of the things that I enjoy most through the year is going to different conventions, meeting new guests and fellow fans.  I usually plan my conventions by the guest list, to make sure the event has something of interest, next I look at the location to see if friends can meet up and last I look at the events to see what is offered to do, so the cost just is not meant for a big dealer room.  Once all those line up to match my personal interest I decide if I’m going or not.  Lexington Comic Con this year fell into the batch of conventions that I wanted to go too.  With both their guest list and location working out well for me, I knew this would be a fun weekend.  Only one problem… another e

Cowabunga Corner goes through a lot of hard drive space on computers because of the videos and photos used for the blog.  Interviews, panels, reviews, and so much more are all saved for multiple uses, which puts us through a lot of different hard drives.  Cowabunga Corner is always needing to upgrade and move the files around to keep them all in order.  We do reuse old files when needed, so deleting is not an option on the video.  Now, it has come time for another upgrade and we’re asking for help.

Random Review #39

Throughout the years of being a Ninja Turtle fan, my collection has been growing.  Every year I get something new that joins the collection.  Growing since 1989, I have over 500 Ninja Turtle toys out of package and over 300 in package, as well as books, animation cels, original comic art, scripts and so much more.  To cover all of this on Cowabunga Corner is not something I really think I can do.  Though I get a lot of questions about my collection, so I figured I could do random stories from time to time to share one item in my collection.  This one is about an original art page from Image TMNT series.

Sing-A-Long with Rob Paulsen

Animaniacs is one of Americas favorite cartoons from the 1990’s.  Not only was there fun stories, amazing characters and great animation.  The show was made up of a lot of very well written and amusing songs.  From what’s in Ice Cream to the Countries around the World, this was a show that could catch the hearts of adults and children.  These characters were brought to life by a very creative team which included the voice talents of Rob Paulsen.  In this video, Rob Paulsen shares some of the history of the songs that we could hear in that inspiring cartoon.
