Midwest Media Expo 2015 TMNT Cartoon Panel

I always enjoy sharing information about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with fellow fans.  Midwest Media Expo is one of the fun conventions that brings me in yearly to talk Turtles, where I often get to share the floor with Andre from Black Nerd Comedy.  Where the two of us can bring more TMNT history to life for fans.  Together we cover whatever topic is at hand, in this panel we’re talking about the history of the TMNT Cartoon series.

Review: SideShow Collectibles Raphael

It’s me, Leonel, back again to review another of Sideshow Collectibles’ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles amazing comiquettes! It’s my mission to tell all my fellow Tortuga Fans why these statues are all so precious, and why they’d be a centerpiece of any TMNT lover’s collection. You will listen NOW, Turtles Fans!

This week, I’m going over the second turtle I managed to get my grubby little fanboy hands on. He’s got the most attitude on the team, known for being cool but crude, and you can always count on him to throw the first punch. He’s mean, he’s green, and he’s got a serious case of Middle Child Syndrome. It’s the Nightwatcher himself; Raphael!

Kodak Moment #47

I got hundreds to thousands of photos through my life.  A lot of which would match up to stories here on Cowabunga Corner, but for one reason or another they are not chosen.  This does not mean that these photos are not worth sharing and do not hold stories of their own.  I would like to keep sharing what I can here on the site, so whenever I can I will share a photo and a story to go along with the photo.  If it’s a part of events that has been shared here, we will link back to the stories of the events themselves as well.  Hope everyone enjoys.  Today’s photo is the Sewer Loft with TMNT display.

Review: SideShow Collectibles Michelangelo

Cowabunga and Booyakasha, Turtles Fans!

My name is Leo, and I’ll be reviewing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Comiquettes from SideShow Collectibles. All four of the bodacious statues in my collection are the SideShow Exclusive variations, meaning the quad of half-shell heroes have both their original red and multi-colored bandanas. Like a turtle do!

Review "Newtralized!" Nick TMNT #43

I know I am behind in my  reviews of the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.  This has not been due to the lack of watching the show, but more the lack of time.  I have kept up every week with Nickelodeon’s TMNT.   One thing I want to do now, is take the time to catch up on the past episodes with some short reviews working my way up to the recent stuff.   Here is my review  of “Newtralized!” from Season 2.

Good Bye 2015

New York Comic Con 20152015 has come to it’s end and what a year it has been.  From the good to the bad, this year has kept us going in circles with family health, moving, and traveling.  There was always something going on to keep me busy. All the while, I never forgot about Cowabunga Corner or really took a true break from trying to do stuff for the site.  Here’s a look back at Cowabunga Corner for 2015.

Review: Mirage Minimates by Diamond Select

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have so many products out based on the Nickelodeon series and the classic cartoon.  It’s fun when something comes out based more on some of the other medias from comics to the other TV shows.  I love when we can cover something that reaches out for the other fan bases out there.  This review covers the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mirage Minimates Box Set with co-host Alopex.

Review "The Lonely Mutation of Baxter Stockman" Nick TMNT #42

I know it’s been awhile since I’ve sat down and reviewed the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.  This has not been due to the lack of watching the show, but more the lack of time.  I have kept up every week with Nickelodeon’s TMNT.   One thing I want to do now, is take the time to catch up on the past episodes with some short reviews working my way up to the recent stuff.   Here is my review  of “The Lonely Mutation of Baxter Stockman” an episode from Season 2.

A look back at Christmas 2015

Christmas day was a great day filled with laughter, food and family.  We had our Christmas morning at home, just my mother, father, Miki and I.   We exchanged some gifts with each other, got food cooked up and headed over to our Cousin’s house.  Where we spent the rest of the day for food and games.

The question I’ve gotten all weekend has been, “Did you get anything Ninja Turtles for Christmas”?  So I put together a video highlighting some of the items I got for Christmas from friends and family.  From toys, games to clothes, both Turtles and not Turtles.  This is a peek at my Christmas gifts.
