Review: Nickelodeon TMNT Theme

When I first heard of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the cartoon was already on the market. So right away I was introduced to a theme song for the TMNT. I loved the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme, and to this day it remains my favorite version of any Ninja Turtle theme song. Every song since then I had to get use to. The Next Mutation theme is my second favorite, even though it’s sort of rap, it was short and easy to learn. I never got into the remixed versions of the original theme song. The 4Kids themes were good, but still took awhile to learn and was nowhere near as catchy as the original theme. So what of the new Nickelodeon theme song? Have you heard it? If not check it out:

Movie Review: Rock of Ages

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a new musical.  I enjoy musicals for the most part.  The last one I saw at the theaters that really stood out to me was a film called “Across The Universe” which used only Beatles music.  So this one, which focuses on Rock N’ Roll from the 1980’s had my attention, it’s called “Rock of Ages” and takes place in Hollywood in 1987.  Growing up I listened more to music from the 1960’s, so I was not sure how much I was going to get into this film, going in I did not even know the plot of the film.

Movie Review: Snow White and the Huntsman

All of my life I have known the story of Snow White, as I grew up with Disney’s wonderful film as a source of entertainment in my youth.  Though I have never gone out of my way to see another Snow White film. I know earlier this year a movie came out based off of Snow White.  I was not in town for that screening and have not seen the movie.  Though I did get the chance to see the new one coming out tomorrow, “Snow White and the Huntsman”.   Here are my thoughts on this new action adventure.

The Famous Roio's Pizza - Update

A few months ago we reported about the Famous Ray’s Pizza being closed down when I visited New York City back in October.  It was a sight that really troubled me, as Ray’s was the filming location for Roy’s Pizza in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze.  This has been something that has had me worried since we first learned of the doors being closed, with no updates from anyone who lives in New York on if there was any chance of the Ray’s once again serving the best pizza in New York City.

TMNT : Why not Aliens?

Stop Motion TMNT 1987 Intro!

Over the years one of the crazes that fans enjoy doing is re-creating awesome stuff from our childhood; be it acting out scenes with a group of friends, drawing out our favorite moments in TV shows and movies, and or singing a song we enjoy our own styles.  With the creation of YouTube, fans have been able to share their love of making these things public for others to enjoy.  Though not all of these re-creation videos get a lot of notice. Recently one has come up this week which is getting the public attention.

In January, I shared some stories of when I met some of the TMNT Guests.  People seemed to enjoy these stories. So here I am to share a few more of the TMNT Guest stories.
