Orlando

Growing up there was few channels that was aimed towards kids.  Saturday mornings was the gold mine of TV hours.  Though a few channels came to the rescue having cartoons and children programing all day.  Disney and Nickelodeon.  I loved Nickelodeon they had programs from cartoons to game shows that we could enjoy.  And everyone I knew loved the game show “Double Dare”.  I’ve gone years without thinking about it, till I was at the Nickelodeon Resorts, where we got to go see their live show of Double Dare.   Here is my review of this awesome live performances in Orlando.

On Wednesday, June 11th 2014 I received a phone call from Michele while she was driving to Orlando, Florida. She was on her way to the Nickelodeon Suites Resort for Retro Weekend, a TMNT event part of the Summer of Shell. Summer of Shell is an event made to celebrate TMNT in one of it's biggest years yet. With the 30th Anniversary, 2014 movie, and epic storyline of the Nick series, the turtle-power-train shows no signs of slowing down!

This event was so big, that one review just won't be able fit it all in. I'll be covering various aspects separately, starting with the hotel itself.

Cowabunga Corner is a hands on type of blog, so those who follow us know that we travel a lot.  Going to events, getting interviews, fan meet ups and so much more.  Getting to stay at different motels and hotels across the country.  I’ve seen my fair share of Days Inn and Hilton Hotels.  So I can be a bit of a nit pick when it comes to where I stay, staff and comfort makes or breaks a hotel for me.  And the main place of comfort has to come from the room itself.  This summer I stayed at the Nickelodeon Suite Resorts in Orlando, FL and this is my review of their Suites.

Tomorrow Adam Sandler’s new movie, “That’s My Boy,” hits the big screen.   Recently, Adam Sandler movies are hit and miss type films.  People either love them or hate them, then there’s those of us who don’t care one way or another.  My favorite Adam Sandler’s film is “Little Nicky”, though I have not seen or gone to many of his other films.  When I got tickets for “That’s My Boy”, I questioned if I wanted to go to it or not.  I decided to go and went to check out the film.
