Playmates Toys

The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Movie will be released in less than a month!  The best way to really get hyped for it is to check out the new merch and watch the trailers.  And there is merch appearing on the shelves from the Playmates TMNT Action Figures to the Crush Soda.  I am trying to review as many of the new Playmates TMNT 2014 Movie line, that I can before the movie comes out.  Here is the Raphael action figure review, this is the Raph not wearing the trench coat.

My favorite Turtle since the first cartoon has almost always been Michaelangelo.  Mikey is the Turtle that has reminded me the most of myself, creative, loves life, a people person, and often just wants to find away to make the family happy.  Often because of this he is the first Turtle I review when new products come out.  This time I am reviewing the new "Ninja Turtles" Movie Michelangelo action figure from the new 2014 film by Playmates Toys.

I got hundreds to thousands of photos through my life.  A lot of which would match up to stories here on Cowabunga Corner, but for one reason or another they are not chosen.  This does not mean that these photos are not worth sharing and do not hold stories of their own.  I would like to keep sharing what I can here on the site, so whenever I can I will share a photo and a story to go along with the photo.  If it’s a part of events that have been shared here, we will link back to the stories of the events themselves as well.  Hope everyone enjoys.  Today’s photo is a shot of the Nickelodeon Turtles in Arizona.

The Turtles started off as four little Turtles that were covered in a strange goo that mutated them into the Ninjas we know and love to this day.  This goo has gone by the name ooze and/or Mutagen.  Back in the 1990’s Playmates Toys brought ooze into the TMNT toy line.  Now for the new Nickelodeon series the ooze has returned.  This video review is of the Playmates Toys ooze that has come out for the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.

Throughout the years of being a Ninja Turtle fan, my collection has been growing.  Every year I get something new that joins the collection.  Growing since 1989, I have over 500 Ninja Turtle toys out of package and over 300 in package, as well as books, animation cels, original comic art, scripts and so much more.  To cover all of this on Cowabunga Corner is not something I really think I can do.  Though I get a lot of questions about my collection, so I figured I could do random stories from time to time to share one item in my collection.  This one is about Fugitoid 2009 Playmates Vacuum Sealed figure.
