Review: IDW Friendship is Magic 3 and 4

MyLittlePony03-cvrRE-DF

Since the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic comics started to come out back in November, I have been trying to keep up with them in review.  Though to my surprise issue four came out, without me even realizing that issue 3 hit the stands.  I did some research and found that issue 3 came out around the time of Toy Fair 2013.  I know I was very distracted at that time.  So if there is anyone trying to keep up with my MLP reviews, I am sorry that I fell behind.  For that reason I am reviewing issues 3 and 4 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in this one post.

Review: IDW Secret History of the Foot #3

TMNT_Foot03_cvrAOne thing that us Turtle fans can never get enough of, is a good fight between the Foot Clan and the Ninja Turtles.  Often enough we see them avoid going head into battle with their enemies.  Though every so often we get a fight that stands out for it’s non stop action.  And that is how the newest issue of IDW’s “Secret History of the Foot” is.  A action packed fight scene with our favorite heroes taking on their toughest enemies.  This comic just came out and I have to share my thoughts on how awesome IDW is doing with this story!

Review: MLP Twilight Sparkle Micro Series

MLP_micro01-coverRE-DFOne of the best things in fandom is sharing your loves and joys with your friends.  Through that you can do so much in life.  For me, it’s been sharing the different medias with those around me and seeing what they have to share back.  Which is what lead me to do reviews of the My Little Pony comics.  Friends who were willing to sit back and talk Turtles with me, shared their love of MLP.  Just another way friendships are great.  And is one of the reasons I took the time to read the newest IDW MLP book “Twilight Sparkle Micro Series”.

Review: IDW TMNT #19

TMNT19_cvrAIn January I was one of the fans sitting there waiting for a new issue of TMNT to come to the market and to my surprise there was not one till the first of February.  I felt as if we were going to start to fall a month behind in the on going Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics by IDW.  Though to my surprise, we have one on the shelves today!  This is our second issue of TMNT this month, bringing us back up to speed.  So I am excited to bring you this review of IDW TMNT #19.

Review: IDW MLP "Friendship is Magic" #1

In 2011 a good friend of mine told me I had to see the new “My Little Pony” show.  I thought that was a joke, Pony’s?  He wants me to watch “My Little Pony”?  He brought me over to his place and got me to sit through 11 episodes of this new series.  I thought it was good, though still surprised how much he enjoyed the series.  Soon I found a lot of my other local friends were into Pony’s, and even  part of something known as Brony’s.  So I’ve watched more the show, got a few toys and hang out with a lot of people to adore this show.  Once I heard that IDW Publishing was going to do a My Little Pony comic, I knew I had some interest in seeing it.

Review: IDW TMNT #16

With all the hype of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series on Nickelodeon, let’s not forget the first story arc since Viacom has bought the Turtles.  IDW Publishing has it’s awesome comic line, with a full new story for the Turtles.  Different from any version out there, these Turtles are winning the hearts of their readers.  As Tom Waltz is bringing us on a ride full of action, family moments, bad guys and humor.  In the last issue Michelangelo stood alone against their new foe, as his brothers fell.  So here’s my review of issue 16, where we see how the Turtles face off against this new threat.

Review: IDW TMNT Micro Series #7 April

IDW Publishing is keeping us Turtle fans on our toes as every week something new is coming to the shelves for us to go after.  This week is no exception to the rule.  Today, two TMNT books come to the stores, one in which a lot of fans have been waiting for, the next issue of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Micro Series, April O’Neil.  April gets her own story.  Will there be action?  How will this go without the Turtles there to liven up the moment?  Here are my thoughts on the April O’Neil issue of the TMNT Micro Series.

Review: Ultimate TMNT collection Volume 3

One of my favorite things that IDW has been doing for us fans is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles “The Ultimate Collection” books.  And Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Ultimate Collection Volume 3 just came out last week!

Review: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures Vol. 1

Once again IDW brings us something really cool for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans.  They went a step farther than how things went with 2009 when Archie released their book of the first three TMNT comics.  How could IDW do more, since they already did another printing of the Archie’s 2009 release?  Simple!  Keep bringing us the releases of the old Archie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures!  And that is what they’re doing!
