Review "Mazes and Mutants" Nick TMNT #41

I know it’s been awhile since I’ve sat down and reviewed the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.  This has not been due to the lack of watching the show, but more the lack of time.  I have kept up every week with Nickelodeon’s TMNT.   One thing I want to do now, is take the time to catch up on the past episodes with some short reviews working my way up to the recent stuff.  If you haven’t seen the season finale of Season 3, be ready for some epic fights, major emotional rides, some good laughs along with a new adventure.  Though that’s for a future review.  Right now I’m going to focus on “Mazes and Mutants” an episode from Season 2.

Review: Nickelodeon TMNT Mutations

I remember back in 1992 reading an story in  a magazine about new toys that Playmates Toys was going to release.  This magazine made it sound like they were going to cost a lot and normal fans were not going to be able to get their hands on them.  Later that year those same toys were released to stores at affordable prices.  These were the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutations.  Now with each cartoon we’ve gotten TMNT mutations.  Here is my review of the Nickelodeon Mutations for Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael and Leonardo.

Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles : Secrets of the Sewers

Preliminary concept digital models, Sewer Lair—Common Room.If there’s one place I truly enjoy seeing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, it’s in Museums.  The first time I saw this was the Words & Pictures Museum, which remains my favorite Museum I’ve ever been too.  They even had an Exhibit for the Next Mutation, and Turtles were always on display there.  Since then I do look and have found TMNT in a few other museum settings, but nothing like what is happening this year as The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis has set up the “Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles : Secrets of the Sewer” Exhibit!

CCI 2015 Nickelodeon TMNT Panel

One of the events I look most forward to each year is the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Panel at San Diego Comic Con International.  They always share awesome character designs for the upcoming season, bring in the voice actors and producers and share lots of fun stuff.  These panels have been at Comic Con International since 2012.  This year they did something different, it is the first year that they brought in someone from outside of Nickelodeon to Moderate the panel having Andre from Black Nerd Comedy.  Here’s the panel and my review of the panel.

Review: Fandom Fest 2015

Leatherhead, Partners in Kryme, Michele, Fugitoid, Nick, Phoenix, Leif, Kenn, Judith and Robbie at Cowabunga Corner Booth for Fandom Fest 2015.Traveling to conventions around the country has become an art to the Cowabunga Corner crew.  From New York City to San Diego we have made our way to panels, autograph sessions and fan meet ups.  Though every now and then the Cowabunga Corner crew is asked to bring more than the normal fan would bring to a convention.  With the offer of booth space and panels, we’re brought in to work the convention to help share Ninja Turtles history and facts.  We just made an appearance in Louisville, KY at Fandom Fest.  A full booth of cool parts of Turtle history to share with
