Michele Ivey's "Cowabunga Corner" #34

In the 8th episode of "Cowabunga Corner" Season 2 I review the first set of Neca Turtle Toys.

Movie Review: Green Hornet

One thing that will never get old at the theater is movie makers bringing comic book heroes to life on the big screen.  It has been going on for many years now and will keep going for years to come.

Michele Ivey's "Cowabunga Corner" #32

In this episode I talk about New York City Comic Con, an event I’ve been going to since it started that takes places in New York City once a year. Filled with comics, anime, and more. I normally enjoy this event and there’s always something Ninja Turtles happening there for fans to enjoy.

Cowabunga Corner #31

In this episode I talk about the Ninja Turtles video games. This is only my first posts about the video games as each game will get their own reviews down the line of blogs, I just wanted to go over and touch a handful of the games. I know not all of the games are mentioned here, and sorry if I missed any you really like. Hopefully I’ll get a review of the game itself up soon.

Movie Review: Tron Legacy

It’s quite difficult for a sequel to succeed as well as the first movie does. It’s even more difficult when that sequel is nearly three decades later. Tron: Legacy had this as a major disadvantage right from the start. How does one follow up with a movie with the original cast, 28 years later?

Review Corner: "Black Swan"

Black Swan is a film about a dancer, Nina, who wants to be perfect and pushes herself so hard that it drives her crazy. Those around her do not realize how crazy she is becoming as she is placed as the lead in Swan Lake. Her teacher is having her do both the white and black swan, though she’s great as the white swan she’s needs to learn how to be bad and show it for the black swan. The more work she does to perform the black swan, the closer she becomes to insanity.

Cowabunga Corner #29

In the 3rd episode of Cowabunga Corner Season 2, I talk about the first five episodes of the original cartoon series. Just a light over view of those episodes. A great beginning for the series!

Review: "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader"

Chronicles of Narnia: “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” is a lot like the first two movies. So, if you enjoyed the other two movies you will more than likely enjoy this movie. The effects, characters, and fight scenes are all well done.

Movie Review: Tangled

Got the chance to see Tangled, and as a Disney fan I was excited. I usually enjoy most everything about their movies; plots, character design, character growth, and music all play an important role in Disney movies. This year has been filled to the brim with CGI movies, so to get two thumbs up from me it would have to be as good as the others that have come out.

Going into Tangled you learn they have a good background story and building growth upon the lead characters. The show how Rapunzel got to the point where she was at as her mother was pregnant and became very ill. To save both Rapunzel and her mother, people went out to find a magic flower that would heal the mother. Once found, they fed the flower to the mother and soon after the baby Rapunzel was born with golden yellow hair.

Cowabunga Corner #27

Welcome to Season two of Cowabunga Corner, in this first episode we talk about the Mirage Volume 1 comics, where I lightly touch on a few of my favorite issues and issues that make a big impact in the Volume. This is only the start to a great season full of a lot of new stuff to share. Promises of more guest interviews, more Turtle fans making appearances as well as the things you enjoyed from Season 1 with Reviews and Stories of the past!
