New episode of Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles airs tonight and what better way to get hyped up about the return of the new series than sitting down to interview one of the awesome voice talents from the show. I caught up with Rob Paulsen this last weekend at Geek Fan Expo, a convention that took place in Michigan. We got to hang out in the lobby for this interview, so the sound is not the best we've had on the show. Check out the video to see how Rob feels about this new take on the Ninja Turtles after finishing up two seasons and now working on the third.

New York City Comic Con is doing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle panel each year for the new Nickelodeon series. Very fun panels worth going to. As I mentioned in the New York City Comic Con review I want to share this panel with everyone. Which brings us to my review of the TMNT panel with a wonderful set of guests on stage.

Monday was a full day of running around, meeting new companies that plan to bring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles products out for us fans. With amazing stuff from Talking Pillows to Kidrobot toys! Choosing a favorite has to go to the one that got me the most excited at first sight. That is to a company that kept their Turtle stuff hidden in the booth where I did not even see them the other times I passed by this booth. Underground Toys.

In this episode I talk about Donatello. He’s one of my top two favorite Turtles and has gone through a lot of changes throughout the different medias. He originally caught my real attention in the first Turtle movie.

In this episode I interview Rob Paulsen about working on the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. Rob was the original voice of Raphael, and stayed with the cartoon from 1987 to 1995. His skills were later realized on other series such as Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, the Mask and The Tick. A wonderful voice actor who can do so much with just a microphone and a script. Rob is now Donatello on the Nickelodeon TMNT Series.

In the first episode of Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles they set up the story line that April’s father, Kirby O’Neil is kidnapped by the Krang and the Turtles have to save him. Only showing him in a few episodes we have gone almost all the way through the first season without Kirby O’Neil being rescued. With the season finally around the corner we are now getting to touch base with that storyline as Donatello finds himself on a mission to save Kirby. Here is my review of Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles episode 24 “Operation: Break Out”.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles DVDs are the best way to help introduce the Ninja Turtles to younger generations and how to keep the spirit of the show alive with us older fans. As we watch all of these new versions of the TMNT come to the market, a lot of us remember and hold close the original cartoon series.
