Shredder

Cowabunga Corner Review: Super Shredder by Playmates Toys

In Season four of Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles we’ve seen the Turtles take to Space for Epic adventure and return to Earth for their old life.  Which bags to give the Turtles a new challenge that could rival that which they just had in space.  The answer, bring in the Super Shredder.  Super Shredder originally created for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze is one of those characters you can not forget, and was due to make a come back at some point for the Turtles to battle again.  And when something cool hits the Turtles series, the toy is soon to follow.  Here is my review of the Super Shredder action figure from Playmates Toys.

Snap Review: Loyal Subjects TMNT Hot Topic Blind Box #2

There’s so many different products released every year that we have a hard time keeping up with everything.  From toys, food, and novelty products.  Wanting to cover everything we enjoy, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles can take time.  Which has got me deciding to do some shorter reviews, just doing fast coverage of the product itself.  These are our Cowabunga Corner Snap Reviews.  Each review covering a different product, depending on what ever it is we have to share.  This episode covers Loyal Subjects TMNT Blind Box from Hot Topic.  This is one of eight episodes with special guest co-host Tokka!

Review "The Lonely Mutation of Baxter Stockman" Nick TMNT #42

I know it’s been awhile since I’ve sat down and reviewed the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.  This has not been due to the lack of watching the show, but more the lack of time.  I have kept up every week with Nickelodeon’s TMNT.   One thing I want to do now, is take the time to catch up on the past episodes with some short reviews working my way up to the recent stuff.   Here is my review  of “The Lonely Mutation of Baxter Stockman” an episode from Season 2.

Review: TMNT Funko Blind Box Toys

FUNKO has been making some great toys as of recently that we have shared some of here on Cowabunga Corner.  Enjoying the POP figures for each of the Turtles, I have key chains of theirs hanging on the Cowabunga Corner Camera and there’s still so much to share.  One of the things they’ve released is their Blind Box figures.  With twelve different characters to collect it’s one of those things that fans can enjoy.  This video is an opening of two blind boxes and a few of their figures.

Youmacon and Midwest Media Expo 2015!

This is Youmacon… this is Youmacon, Youmacon, Youmacon!  That’s right, it the week of Youmacon, which means it’s also Halloween and I’m just so excited to be returning to one of my favorite conventions of the year.  A great staff, awesome talent and a big fun location.  Fun panels and amazing concerts!  In this write up I’ll share a bit about Youmacon 2014 and since Youmacon is ran by the same crew as Midwest Media Expo, I felt this was a great time to pull out one of the TMNT Panels I did at Midwest Media Expo 2015!

Review: IDW TMNT #50 *SPOILER*

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has so many different origins, stories, character growth and character designs.  A lot of people always try to compare them to each other, at the same time they’re so different.  IDW Publishing has been releasing their own version of the Turtles which is not like any other out there.  With their own history for the characters, their own plots that don’t match up to any other series and their own way of handling very intense moments.  Recently IDW made a lot of news with Donatello, that was only the build up for what is coming in issue 50.  Here is a spoiler filled review of issue 50 from IDW TMNT.

Going into the Secrets of the SewersThis past Saturday Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles took over at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. That was the day that the “Secrets of the Sewers” Exhibit opened up to the public.  This is a large Exhibit full of games, props, and group activities.  Made to help families and friends learn to work together as a team while enjoying our fab four Turtles!  Here is my review of the “Secrets of the Sewers” Exhibit.
