Review: IDW TMNT Villain Micro Series Karai

The IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book series has been building up a tension between Karai and the Shredder for some time now.  As Tom Waltz talks about our interview we shared earlier this year.  We have learned that she is the one who brought Oroku Saki back, that she is the one who fixed the Foot Clan to be what it use to be.  As much that we have learned about her, it was not till today’s issue of TMNT that we get to learn what inspired her and how she went about doing all that she has done.  In the TMNT Villain Micro Series issue #5 Karai’s history is revealed.  Here is my review of this awesome issue of IDW TMNT!

Review: IDW TMNT Villian Micro Series #4

In IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Micro Series issue 1 we were introduced to a new character.  She’s strong, she’s bad and she’s got Raphael’s attention.  She reminds some of us of Ninjara, the Fox from the old Archie TMNT Comic books.  She has mainly just been a fighter in this series.  Though in the newest issue of IDW Micro Villain Series she takes the front stage so we can get a feel for who Aloplex is.  Here is my review of IDW TMNT Villain Micro Series #4

Movie Review: "The Lone Ranger" 2013

There is a lot of recreations of properties that are close to people.  From Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Trek to now the Lone Ranger.  With Johnny Depp coming in to play Tonto, people have been waiting to see where they were going to go with this film.  Personally I know I have watched some things of the Lone Ranger, one of my dogs from my childhood was name Kemosabe.  Another dog we recently lost to cancer was named Tonto.  So the Lone Ranger has been a part of my life, just not a media I’ve studied much into.  So while I wanted to see the Lone Ranger movie, I did not except to love the film as much as I do.

Review: IDW TMNT #23

In the original cartoon series, Shredder did not try to kill the Turtles right away.  He offered for them to join him.  This was used again in the 4Kids series.  Each time Shredder has tried to win the Turtles over to his side he has failed, and soon decides to destroy them.  In the IDW comics we have a different situation where Shredder knows the Turtles from their previous life.  He does not want just any Turtle, he wants Leonardo.  He has a goal set and is aimed to get it.  In TMNT #22, Leonardo was caught by the Shredder.  So here comes the question that everyone has.  How will Shredder get Leonardo by his side?

Classic TMNT Season 3 coming this July!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles DVDs are the best way to help introduce the Ninja Turtles to younger generations and how to keep the spirit of the show alive with us older fans.  As we watch all of these new versions of the TMNT come to the market, a lot of us remember and hold close the original cartoon series.

Review & Comparison! OS TMNT 8 to Nick TMNT

This is the day I would normally write a review about the newest episode of Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  I would go on about the plots, characters, favorite scenes, and if I like or don’t like the changes made to characters in the show.  These are normally fun write ups sharing my inside view of the Nickelodeon series.  And while I wish I could say these are weekly, they’re not.

Review: IDW TMNT #22 "City Fall" 1

IDW started off in 2011 with their first TMNT storyline, showing us the new version of the Ninja Turtles. Next we got to know more of Stockman and see the build up to the Shredder. Keeping us pulled in the full time, as we got up to the Krang War going to Dimension X.

Review & Comparison! OS TMNT 7 to Nick TMNT

Nickelodeon every now and then takes a break, making us fans hold our breath just a little bit longer in waiting for the next installment of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  So what do I do?
