Review: Ultimate TMNT collection Volume 3

One of my favorite things that IDW has been doing for us fans is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles “The Ultimate Collection” books.  And Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Ultimate Collection Volume 3 just came out last week!

Review: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures Vol. 1

Once again IDW brings us something really cool for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans.  They went a step farther than how things went with 2009 when Archie released their book of the first three TMNT comics.  How could IDW do more, since they already did another printing of the Archie’s 2009 release?  Simple!  Keep bringing us the releases of the old Archie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures!  And that is what they’re doing!

Cowabunga Corner #84: TMNT Comic Reading

Hey everyone

Review: Nickelodeon TMNT Theme

When I first heard of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the cartoon was already on the market. So right away I was introduced to a theme song for the TMNT. I loved the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme, and to this day it remains my favorite version of any Ninja Turtle theme song. Every song since then I had to get use to. The Next Mutation theme is my second favorite, even though it’s sort of rap, it was short and easy to learn. I never got into the remixed versions of the original theme song. The 4Kids themes were good, but still took awhile to learn and was nowhere near as catchy as the original theme. So what of the new Nickelodeon theme song? Have you heard it? If not check it out:

Review: IDW TMNT #12

A year of stories have been building up to a big fight, Ninja Turtles vs. The Foot!  IDW Publishing has been keeping us on our toes with all these comics building more and more on the characters and stories.  Tom Waltz has been bringing us through this world building up the tension.  With Dan’s artwork flowing right through.  What a comic.  And here issue 12 is finally here bringing us a battle of good vs. evil.  Though this does not end the story, this is only the beginning.

Review IDW Enemies Old Enemies New

Since IDW has taken on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle comic books, we've been going for one ride after another.  Though it's been a blast, not everyone has been able to keep up with the comics coming out.  A few months ago, IDW published TMNT Change is Constant Volume 1.  This graphic novel held the first four issues of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with the introduction of Raphael, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Donatello, as they fight Old Hob in the mission to be together again.  Now we're getting issues five through nine in their new graphic novel Enemies Old Enemies New.

The Shape of a Turtle Chapter 3

Part 3

This night everything seems so dark.

I go to look outside, past the bars on the windows. I want to go home. But I know before I can do that, I have to take these bad guys out and from what I saw, I’m on my own. My brothers and Splinter have no idea where I am.

Review: IDW TMNT #11

In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle history, the first battle with the Shredder is usually highlighted as a fight for the Turtles.  The original comics Splinter sent the Turtles to kill the Shredder, which is what they were originally trained for.  In the first cartoon series, Splinter was kidnapped by a robot and the Turtles had to fight Shredder and the Foot to save Splinter.  In the movies, Splinter was kidnapped by the Foot Clan.  We don’t even get to see how that happened, but the Turtles have to fight the Shredder.

Review: Nickelodeon TMNT Website

In 2009, the news of the sale of Ninja Turtles to Viacom also meant that ninjaturtles.com would no longer be ran by Mirage Studios.  The website soon had an image showing that the new site was to be launched in 2011, as we watched a lot of the areas disappear from the website that we all knew and loved.  Though some cool areas remained, like the history of the old TV series and movies.  We waited for the new site.  But 2011 came and went with no new changes.  Finally, June 2012 the website changes, but is this change for the better?

First TMNT Trailer from Nickelodeon!

We’ve been waiting to say this! A new TMNT Trailer is up! This is the second time Nickelodeon has released a video to the fans, but this time it is not a Mutation in Progress video, this is the real deal! A trailer for the new cartoon. Finally, a chance for everyone to hear the new Turtle voices! So before we get into the details... watch this new trailer.

Now that you’ve seen the trailer, here’s my review. This is a teaser trailer, only giving us samples of the Turtles voices, fast flashes of scenes, bits of animation, and no idea on where the story is going. We see the comedy side of the show in this clip as they use a lot of Michelangelo. So I’ll start with Michelangelo.
