Thankful

2018 has been a very rough year on my family and I.  It almost feels like we’ve been thrown into a slump that is so hard to dig ourselves out of the darkness.  As work on our house is on hold till we can get a furnace installed. Other roadblocks have kept coming up, including stopping us from getting help to get the furnace.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the United States.  Each year I’ve been trying to do a story for someone that I’m thankful for in my life.  There’s so many out there that it’s never easy to just narrow it down.  I decided to do something a little different this year.  Instead of a person, I have a company that I am very thankful for.  This company introduced me to my passion for TMNT through their products. They’ve brought me many hours of joy and happiness in my life and has recently helped my family while we were going through a very rough time.  I am so thankful for Playmates Toys and all they’ve done through the last 26 years of my life.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who is celebrating it today!  Growing up in the United States, this is one of those Holidays that my family has taken part in my full life.  A big meal and enjoying the things that we have to be Thankful for.  Loved ones still with us, roof over our heads and the many adventures that we survive.  Last year I shared one of the reasons I’m “Thankful” here on Cowabunga Corner.  I’ll like to keep that up.  One of my biggest things to be Thankful for in my lifetime is my Mother.  Here’s a bit about her and how amazing she is.
